Someone asked in my FB bump group who all is pregnant again already and when they’re expecting, and no judgement, but it’s wild how many people are already pregnant again and even some due before year end.

I feel like I’m at capacity trying to handle one baby, work, and still having a semblance of a personal life and as much as I’d like another baby, I don’t know how we’d manage both time wise and financially with rising costs and daycare

Not me trying to find time to have sex with my husband. If I can’t find that time how the hell would I have another kid.

What is this sex you speak of?

Hahaha yes we are literally unable with a contact napper and cosleeper and 8 week peak fussiness. But even with my first who slept im the bassinet we were too exhausted for ages, I think only by 6ish months postpartum maybe even 9 we were more regularly managing. The good news is by the time she turned two we had a fantastic sex life again.. Just in time for #2. We will get there again! (infertility also wrecked us for a while in that department)

Same! I did so many cycles of IVF back to back where you can’t even have sex. And then I was on pelvic rest for most of my pregnancy. I know things are a season and I’ve been with Mr. Lit 2037449 years but it will be nice eventually to be out of the sex for TTC/IVF/pregnancy season.

I was going to say the same, infertility put a major dent in our sex life and then I had no sex drive when I was pregnant. We’re not the best at prioritizing it even in normal times and with the baby and the dog and the exhaustion… we’ll see!

Haha. When I hear about people getting pregnant again early on, I seriously wonder when they have time for sex.

This!!! I keep meaning to try harder and then somehow it’s been another sexless week.

Sleeping with my husband is better than ‘sleeping with my husband’ right now

This was crazy to me too. One woman in my fb group had twins via IVF and then got spontaneously pregnant with another baby who was born before her twins turned 1. I couldn’t even FATHOM. Made sure my birth control was on point after that story.

lol 🤣 I’ve seen a few people posting that in my group. I got on birth control at my 6 week visit because I do not want to be pregnant until my baby is at least one. I’ll probably go off after then and see if I can get this mythical free sex baby. But I’m not holding out hope as my one and only pregnancy was from my FET.

6m appointment checked off and I am sitting in our carport with little girl conked out in the backseat. I’m afraid to open the door in case I wake her but I need to peeeee. Mostly though, feeling grateful for the nap time and for a good visit. These months are flying by so fast.
