If anyone has any good processing tips (besides sampling) to get that heavy Godflesh sound it would be much appreciated.

I'm a high school student who is developing a free plugin FOR YOU INDUSTRIAL MUSIC LOVERS!!!

A few weeks ago you probably saw that I posted about COGG v1/v1.1/v1.2/v1.3, a free plugin I built that metalizes and industrializes any sound. Specifically, harmonic distortion, metal plate convolution reverb, and pitch layering are there all in one chain. Great for experimental music and mainstream alike.

I wanted to update you guys with version 1.4's release! It comes with the highly requested PRE toggle, which allows the metal effect to become distorted along with the rest of the sound, rather than just acting as a “topping!” Additionally, there are 8 new presets for you to use, adding up to a total of 20 free presets!

Of course, it's still free, no account needed, VST3 + AU for Mac, VST3 for Windows, VST3 for Linux.

Thanks to everyone who tried v1.3, v1.2, v1.1 and v1.0 and gave feedback, this update came directly from figuring out what people actually wanted to do with it. I personally have used COGG in almost all of my FL projects ever since I released it. Please give it a shot and let me know what you think of the presets and plugin as a whole for COGG v1.5!

I layered a saxophone over radio noise.

I make music without using computer software plugins samples etc. only with hardware synths Performing live and recording to a multitrack mixer .Have alot of fun and is more inspiring. so i’ve been putting together a setup to make industrial music and am know looking for a delay that comes closest to the Lexicon PCM-41 famously used by Skinny Puppy back then.
More willing to go for hardware but thankful for VST recommendations also :)

Looking for a vocalist/ band to jam out with. Here is a demo of my work. My rig is an AKAI MPC61, MPC 37, a few synths and Gristlizer pedal. If interested let me know. Currently based out of AZ but willing to send mixes and work with people that over long distance. Hi, I’m a huge Skinny Puppy fan and always wanted to make music like that. In 2020, I got laid off of work and finally had my chance to go for it. Sadly it ended abruptly due to an overdose death and my other band member getting deported back to the UK. I ended up putting out 2 EPs at the end of the year and have struggled finding an audience for it. It’s industrial-ish but not quite. I’d be thrilled to see it get some love.
