Back in the 2018 Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, I bought my first laptop, an Acer Predator with a GTX 1050 Ti, for ₹50k. It carried me for almost 8 years. Last month I finally upgraded to a proper PC for ₹1.68L. Didnot build it from scratch, got a prebuilt deal on reddit which was so tempting that i had to get it.

Was it worth it?
Totally. It feels like a dream come true.

I've been playing since CS:GO, moved on to CS2, and earned my 5-year badge. Now I'm going for the 10-year one. Fps shifted from 60 to 360, it felt like iam completely in new world.

I also started COD MW and MW4 (2026) on this PC, and the gameplay is smooth as butter.

Going from a 1050 Ti laptop to this is a different world.

Please do upvote if the price 1.68 seems the best deal i could have got.

Can i get a ps2 around 1k in 2026?

This is the most 7/10 a game can be. To clarify, this is a Detective/ Puzzle game.

The world is awesome- a mash of detective adventure with lovecraftian elements, the mystery good, the puzzles and gameplay very engaging and most importantly, you get to be Sherlock Holmes ( and Dr Watson sometimes).

The main issue, as with all Frogware games( like The other Sherlock Holmes games, and the Sinking City) is the polishing and smoothness of the gameplay. The lip sync is terrible and the movement is clunky, the things that made me stop playing the Sinking City, but fortunately this is more linear and shorter so those issues are not a big hindrance.

I don't expect them to make a AAA game, especially as they are a small team from Ukraine and they made this during an ongoing War.

Overall, I enjoyed it and I really cheer for them because if they get over these minor issues, they have great potential.

Tried to give this shot the GTA VI vibe!

In-game photography (The Crew:Motorfest)

There is an app called 'Logg: Game Tracker' on both the Android and Apple App Stores. It is similar to Backloggd, which is a game reviewing site like Letterboxd. However Backlog doesn't have a proper mobile app and the fan-made versions have many ads in them plus they are slow. I don't know how much of the subreddit likes reviewing video games but I really love to. Since I started using it I've already made 56 reviews of games. I just wanted to bring some attention to this for people who are looking for an app that could do the same.

The UI is intuitive and easy to use, quick and snappy, and the app has all the games you can think of. I also like that it's available on iOS and Android so anyone can use it. My only complaint is that there is no desktop version of it yet. Plus some people might get confused between the different versions of the game being made by different developers, like Last of Us made for PS3, PS4, and PS5.

Guys, I have an ASUS TUF F15 with an RTX 3050, and I want to change the thermal paste. I’m not sure which brand would be best for a laptop. I also need a thermal pad for my SSD.

My total budget is around ₹1,000–₹1,500, including the service charge. I’m planning to buy the thermal paste and pad myself and give them to a shop for the replacement.

Can anyone suggest a good thermal paste and thermal pad within my budget?

Yo! Just got this beauty (gamesir cyclone2 with the dock) from amazon for 4.9k using card offers. Def legit.
I just sold my ps5 and wanted to replace the dualsense with this one as i game on my pc a lot.
Initially i wanted to get a legit xbox controller or a ps5 controller but thats when i went all in and researched about all the differences: for example - the type of sticks (potentiometer, hall effect and tmr) ; the polling rates; all the stuff we research on to make us justify spending extra lol. But on the contrary i found this cheaper than the ps5 and xbox ones and it was a nobrainer with the amount of features it offered compared to the other two.

Initial impressions, crazy good quality for the price.
It feels really grippy on the hand and the thumbsticks have a nice tactile feel to it.

What i disliked about the controller:

issues ive noticed coming from a dualsense is that the R2 button on the dual sense had more give compared to the cyclone2 ifykwim and also the vibration motors are way too strong on the left side i had to adjust it to the lowest setting. (My hands were literally in pain on the highest setting)
Other than these all smooth sailing for now.

What i love:

I play a lot of switch games using emulators and im able to connect this as a native switch pro controller without any extra mapping tools or anything i was mind blown (coz im used to mapping the ps5 controller before every game i play lol). The gyro worked flawlessly too whichwas really surprising!
The gamesir windows app!!! Sucha responsive and polished app. Tons and tons of customisation options.
The sticks feel very responsive and guess what, you can customise their sensitivity too.
The lights, omg the amount lighting changes you can do is crazy def feels overwhelming in the beginning and i literally spent about an hour to set it up.

Final thoughts, if ur on the fence on getting a controller for ur pc and have the budget just go for it! Def worth the money. Will make an update post in the future after further use. So i always wanted to try persona games as I like rp and into anime artstyles and stuff. Today I got to know that persona3 reload has demo version and downloaded it. Loving it soo far, already done a hr into it and it's exceeding my expectations. Am looking to buy it. So I had recently bought a PS4 slim 1TB from game loot after looking for days in offline stores and OLX

Console was very clean with no damage signs

UI felt laggy but i thought it was decade old console so expected and didn’t give it much thought

First game i played on this was RE4 demo

And after that i downloaded GTAV which suspiciously after downloading took 5 hours to boot for first time

I thought this is how PS4 first time booting time for GTA V might be

It worked with no lag or glitches even ps4 silent

But luckily i thought maybe i should download more games to test and put elden ring on download immediately

But as soon as it made it to phase 2 of download (approximately 40gb) console suddenly started making weird clicking sound and console started lagging and crashing

I thought it might be corrupted download but it’s HDD faulty

Gameloot response through gmail has been very late but atleast they accepted my console for warranty claim

I was being very patient but somehow they took 16 days (still not received yet) with NO info regarding what’s wrong or if they have fixed it yet

It took 2 days of spam mails for their response “we replaced your ps4 faulty HDD”

This gotta be unusual for HDD replacement for taking this long?

As they said it will only 4-5days

when i called them and made this clear to them that it just feels like you guys were wasting current warranty time period to me and going with temporary fix so it’s safe to expect that my main console warranty that has been out of my hand should be extended back?

They refused

I asked for Repair sheet or proof that the HDD you replaced on my console is true

They refused again

Idk if I’m unreasonable

But this is been such a anxious and stressing experience for me that i haven’t even informed my parents

As a 13 years old my parents were gifting me a phone instead i insisted for a ps4 or any hardware to play elden ring smoothly as I got addicted to this game from my friend’s ps5

pS4 seemed only option for my budget

So if anyone looking or planning to get a PS4 from gameloot

Back then, we had a basic PC that was actually my dad’s work PC. For me, though, it was everything lol. I used to spend hours playing loooot of games including GTA VC, SA and GTA 3 on it.
When I saw this news about GTA 5 in the newspaper, I got SO excited that I cut it out and pasted it in my notebook.
Funny thing is, I didn’t even know buying games was a thing back then ...I used to get pirated games from friends on pen drives. And consoles? I didn't even know consoles were a thing😭
I always thought that someday, when I start earning, I’ll finally buy and play GTA 5.
Today, while going through my old notebooks, I found this page again. Mann, time really flew.
And now, I’m actually going to play GTA 6 on launch day with my own money. That 11yo me would’ve gone crazy knowing this.
From playing pirated games on dad’s work PC to playing GTA 6 on day one. Life really comes full circle sometimes.

so i built this pc this year back when i was in kolkata from vedant computers but i’m in delhi currently and i’m looking to move my pc. now.. the issue is, i don’t have the box for the y60 cabinet 😞 and i’ve called vedant computers multiple times but they’ve been slow with telling me how else they can help me ship it. initially since i got it from there, i was willing to pay them shipping and get it shipped here but now that i’ve mentioned i don’t have the box for this cabinet, the responses on my end have been quite bad 🫠 idk what movers and packers to go to either

if anybody has suggestions or can help me out in this case, please tell me 😭

I've been noticing unusually high data consumption on my Tata Play Fiber connection, especially when downloading games.

Two recent examples:

• COD MW4: Downloaded ~73 GB, Tata Play reported an increase of ~170-180 GB.
• Phantom Blade (27 Oct): Downloaded ~138 GB, but consumption jumped from ~2,500 GB to 2,811 GB on the same day.

I checked the WAN statistics on my Nokia G-1426G-D ONT, which has been running for 17 days:

• Nokia WAN total: ~1.30 TB
• Tata Play app: ~2.81 TB

I understand these totals might cover different accounting periods, but the repeated spikes after downloads are concerning.

My PC is connected via Ethernet through an Archer AX10 in AP mode. I've also checked Windows network usage and LAN/WAN counters.

Has anyone else experienced inflated data usage with Tata Play Fiber or other Indian ISPs? Could this be double-counting, delayed reporting, or something I'm overlooking?

Would appreciate some technical insights before escalating this further.

I have seen so much that western cartoons and animation have licensed games on pc and console anime also has licensed games and live action movies and tv shows from foreign countries have licensed games even indian movies have licensed game but why there is no licensed game based on indian cartoon for pc or console i only see hypercasual mobile game why not have licensed game for pc or console
