India International 3 OCI players with a genuinely realistic chance of representing India in the near future

Again I know this has been a load of waffle for years but with a bit of research I found out that there actually might be a chance of some OCI players potentially representing India within the next approx 2 years. Also I base a lot of this on laws that I put in my previous post so I reccomend checking that to help better understand.

Yan Dhanda

For a few years he has been the biggest name in the whole OCI fiasco and I did a bit of digging and I realised that he recieved his OCI card in 2022. Which means that under India laws he now has to wait one more year and spend one year living in India before applying for an Indian passport.

Also his contract specifically ends at the end of this season (it was a 3 year contract potentially planned for this because when it was signed he was a very sought after young player)

So this means that as long as an ISL team signs Dhanda for next season he can represent India in the next WC and Asian Cup qualifiers.

Veer Joshi

He impressed in the Durand cup for Samaleswari SC and performed well. Able to live in India with an OCI card and already came so is potentially near the end of his 5 year ownership.

Danny Batth

Again he has been in the headlines for years but it turns out that he has had his OCI card for 7 years now. This means that he just needs to spend 1 year in the ISL to be eligible for the NT. He already was in talks with MB last year but they fell through, but if he manages a team next season he too can respresent India in the next WC and Asian Cup qualifiers.

He would be 38, but at the same time even if he is 38, he is still starting in the EFL championship so I am sure he would still have the ability to help India at least for a year or two with his physicality (known as one of the most physical players in all of the EFL) and also his leadership and experience (captained mulitple teams in their campaigns to get promoted to the premier league).

Shaan Hundal

This one is quite well known but Shaan has had his OCI for long enough and all he needs is to live in India now, last season he nearly signed for Mohammedan but it fell through because of paperwork problems. This season some I league clubs tried to get his contract but he said he didn't want his career to go sideways which makes sense because he doesn't want the same thing that happened to Aryn Williams to happen to him.

But if he gets a club next season he can go through the same as Yan dhanda and Danny Batth

Youth India can only aim for 81-97 rankings after losing 2-1 to Honduras. Next match at 19:45 vs Trinidad and Tobago

"Clueless" would be one word to describe our passing+attacking+defending. I did not like the casual playstyle of our captain nor our centerbacks.

Bibiano looked absent the entire match. There was no motivation for anyone in our camp to win

Youth We literally have the worst luck in the world - Trindad & Tobago vs India (FIFA U15 WC)

• Upvotes

0-2 down at HT. Can't be losing to CONCACAF teams at this level.

We're clearly the better team on the field. We're missing shots, shooting wide, 3 shots got blocked in front of goal, their GK making great saves. Meanwhile, they literally had 5 attacks and scored from 2 of them

Edit: made a comeback. Lets fucking go!
