I'm okay with Rahul in a certain sense, he's not immoral, has decent education and generally speaking thinks in a good direction.
None of this characteristics are in the current regime leaders, 75 year olds with outdated videos, playing religion politics and definately cannot develop this country as it deserves to be.
But I'm also open to a better leader! If we get any.
3
u/Friendly_Tap2511 11d ago
Rahul aaye ya na aaye is se kis ko kya matlab. Yeh sarkar ko toh bhagaana hi padega. Rahul aa bhi gaya aur voh bhi naalayak nikla toh usko bhi bhagaange bhai. Yeh hi toh hai democracy

u/winchester_fc 11d ago
The process of the removal of the CEC is the same at that of the judge of the Supreme court. The notice of motion requires the signatures of 100 Lok Sabha members. Why isn't the opposition doing that insted of this drama?
1
u/wandering_monk8 10d ago
It requires 2/3 majority to be successfully executed. Introducing a motion that can't succeed is not very fruitful. It could just be a formal protest atb.
0
u/winchester_fc 10d ago
They just dont want to follow the very constitution that they are waving everywhere. Regime change by hook or by crook. This is scorched earth.
0
u/wandering_monk8 10d ago
What did they scorch?
Protesting is their right, this needs to be done when the government is deaf and trying to compromise the last resort as well.
My reply was just to show you that 100 MPs are just to initiate the proceedings. No one believes BJP will even consider the charges against their planted guy.
0
u/winchester_fc 10d ago
Yeah sure buddy. Democratic institutions are being systematically targetted because the opposition can't win the election on their own. Protesting for protesting sake, but not taking actual action for bringing meaningful change, this is the reason that the opposition is not taken seriously. If street veto will decide if the regime stays or not then the same thing will be done by the BJP when they are in the opposition.

2000-4000 people in protest and all opposition party people, not a single genuine person... and witnessing something big?? Very great.. keep going with IT cell work

u/glascowcomascale 10d ago
So opposition party are not genuine people ? Are they pakistani ?
0
u/Successful_Cat7398 10d ago
I am not saying that, but you mentioned that. They just want to do regime change and for that whatever option they have, they will do that..
1

If the problem is with the existing regime, then shouldn’t it be changed ?

If only the people a decade back thought like this. We’d not have these clowns in power in the first place.
3

Change was needed then like its needed now
2
u/BoredBaanana 11d ago
Yes this is a point that I’d gladly agree that maybe we had changed the congress from govt to opp cause we needed a change. They made many mistakes and went against the people and as a result people went against them.
Just like what’s happening now.
1
u/sidshash 11d ago
Honest point. Change is what we needed and need. BJP has implemented some much needed policies but keeping them in power for too long is making them arrogant. we should keep rotating ruling party.

you know damn well it would've been another bs congress weakahh government doing nothing but it's pm serving a manchild in RG and Sonia aunty
1
u/BoredBaanana 11d ago
Not really , you’d never know what would’ve happened.
Maybe we’d have seen parties like CJP come up and protest against congress , AAP could’ve been more bigger and could’ve formed a government.
We’ll never know tbh

If the current situation is Dictatorship, let the Left be reminded of Indira era - where Muslims were forcefully sterilised! Let the Left face that era again! Where freedom of speech was there only with one person as all members of press, right wing were in jail! Let there be democracy where one person would be leading the country without having any powers or winning any elections (even illegally she did not win)

Grapes were happening when Congress was ruling, they were happening when AAP was in power, they were happening when Britishers were ruling us. They are happening when Trump is president and they were happening when Biden was President.
Asking for a resignation of a leader is not the solution, grape is just a topic they chose to try to come in power, and make no mistake, they are not going to change sheet.
Merders are happening of SM influencers in AAP ruled Punjab just because the victims didn’t follow the supposed morality of the state, why not ask for resignation of AAP leaders?

What a clown, the demand is still the same, why the government is defending an election commissioner? Why is the bjp so b*tthurt about it? Why the CEC has lifetime immunity? Protestor ka pata nhi, gen alpha will definitely will be ashamed of people like you jinhone government ki gulami hi ki hai
3
u/Safe-Fuel-5917 11d ago
Bring the proof, expose them, get them thrown out of the Govt in the appropriate way. As a country, if proven, we should definitely do that. What you are saying/doing is just throwing rumours, creating anarchy based on that and spewing venom. Just don't get angry and talk shit without any base. :)
Also, if you do not know powers of CEC and who has given it, since when - you should better understand that. Otherwise you are showing this world who the real clown is. Hahaha
-1
u/VastRevolutionary594 11d ago
How we can throw them out of govt if election are getting rigged? Please enlighten.
4
u/Safe-Fuel-5917 11d ago
Pls prove the elections are rigged. Don't believe rumours, my man. With Rahul at the helm, BJP wins even without much efforts. BJP works like corporate, plan and execute. Play smart games of PR for the work done and win elections.
On the other side, neither there is unity among Tukda Tukda gang, nor they are doing things which make them likeable among the mass. Only thing that unites them is saying BJP is bad. How will they win?
-1
u/Away_Extension1966 11d ago
Bro andha hai kya? Aur kitna proof chahiye? 13 crore votes deleted, supreme court saying that it didn't approve of form 6,in a single home in bihar 500 voters were found, system was about to delete 85k votes in UP, the official agreed when the issue was raised... Bc yeh sab chota hai, baaki bjp was the one who has protested the most, abhi log kar rhe hai toh dikkat hai tumhe? Don't forget yehi bjp was protesting against the election commission before they came in power, ab inko criticise kro toh tum jaise hutiye sab se pehle muh me lene ke liye aa jate hai

I am just waiting for a nice laathi charge by Delhi Police. Also 500-1000 people on street does not reflect the mood of the entire nation. And tell me after taking resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, has CJP asked any questions on new education policy or they did any follow up? No!
1
u/Iceblade_sam 11d ago
Haa yaar follow up karna chahiye tha. Kya pata phir se paper leak karna shuru karde toh? In chomu neta o ka kya bharosa? Kal kia toh aaj bhi kar sakte hai. Including rpe and mrder
1
u/Both_Independence_51 11d ago
Then what's the point of his resignation and all those protest if you feel it is gonna happen again?
1
u/Iceblade_sam 11d ago
There's no point in resignation. We need a top to bottom investigation and overhaul of the system that was found lacking. Moreover we need a fast track system of judicial courts for government related cases. If govt jobs are like heaven then punishment for serious wrongdoing or crime should be like hell. Because of this absurd job security I'm sure most of these govt servants get inclined towards wrongdoings or crimes. Get rid of job security if found guilty. Don't suspend, SACK.
3
u/idksomethinglazyiam 11d ago
Every demand must follow due process; a sudden regime change is no solution. Regardless of how dire the current situation may seem, an abrupt overhaul reverses decades of hard-earned progress. If the resignation of Gyanesh is demanded, it must be pursued on clear legal grounds. Instead, many are now openly calling for regime change without grasping the long-term consequences. It is easy for political actors to incite the public to serve their own agendas. As citizens, we cannot afford to forget that the opposition plays its own political games—they are no messiahs. We must stand against injustice, but we should do so thoughtfully, not blindly follow the crowd. While reforms are necessary and welcome, quietly slipping in a demand for regime change reveals their true motives.
2
u/S1mpleLim3 11d ago
Ideally one should never support regime change or anarchy but I think we as a democratic nation are past that point.
As long as you are privileged and living a good life all is well. But when injustice happens and people speak up, they are silenced. Tell me how is it a functional democracy? Even Britishers had courts and institutions, they had a congress too. Are we calling it democracy as well?
3
u/Iceblade_sam 11d ago
Yeah yeah go see how BJP used to ask for a regime change during their protest against the UPA govt. It's all jolly and good when they did it and now it's downright treacherous. How quick are you lot in forgetting the past huh? You scream that Congress was corrupt blah blah blah but also forgot how many Congress ministers are now with the BJP. prime example Hemanta Biswa Sharma

I am a millennial. I used to think the same when I was in my teens.
Then my generation grew up, my cousins, friends started getting into position of authority in all ways, family responsibilities, middle/senior management, civil services. And I realised that a lot of these people are slowly turning into the same thing they used to blame for all the problems earlier.
A generation dying off is not the solution. Because the next generation grows up seeing normalisation of toxicity, hate and general lack of civic sense and empathy.
Breaking that normalisation is the only solution. Just waiting for it to go away is not going to work.

A nationalist loves the country and believes their country’s best and is perfect. A patriot loves his/her country as much but also acknowledges its shortcomings and the areas to improve and work towards improving the shortcomings. No nation and no one is perfect and there will always be room for improvement. But unless we acknowledge it we will never work towards remotely improving it. I recognize so many improvements they have made but they have also had shortcomings. But my complaint for this current govt is that they never accept shortcomings and always project themselves to be perfect god-like. I want someone who says, Okay, these are the areas where we messed up or could have done better but we will work and improve on those said areas.

Guys if congress really wants gyanesh to resign then why aren't they submitting any proofs or any thing to start an investigation or like get this in supreme court
-2
u/Little-Ambition-6440 10d ago
Bhai, congress is a political party. Not an detective firm. In a competent democracy, a mere sign of electoral fraud would lead to a massive investigation by an unbiased third party.
Here, we have seen a documented case of collusion between CEC and the ruling party, a mere allegation from congress should have been enough for an official investigation. But what we got was a we don't care about you or your opinions type of attitude from the CEC. Also, the other 2 EC's have on record stated their opposition to SIR. This should be more than enough for any Indian citizens who believes in democracy to question the whole electoral process.
