#Ask-India ☝️ BJP is fighting for reservation to be increased?

In almost every BJP ruled there are hearing pending High court around reservation ceiling increase. Especially states in North belt where most of the general category voters are with BJP.

I am unable to understand why BJP is so unfaithful to GC?

#Ask-India ☝️ When will they stop freebies and corruption ?

When will they stop freebies and corruption ? all has to be funded from High Tax to 2% people and something not seen in any country. the reporter is correctly calling that the tax treatment in india is something nowhere to be seen around the world and thats pushing non participation on investment in india.

there are default items of corruption / caste based reservation (don't downvote for this - financial stature based reservation is really fine, but not some generational govt officer with reservations for every generations even though uplifted).

#Politics 🗳️ Six election officials removed in U.P. after SP flags voter list errors

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday removed five Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and a computer assistant from election duties following an investigation into voter list discrepancies in Azamgarh. Action has also been initiated against three senior electoral registration officials.

The orders come after the Samajwadi Party (SP) held a press conference on October 15, alleging that a voter named ‘Vikas Yadav’ was listed 10 times in the voter list for the Azamgarh assembly constituency (347).

Following a detailed probe by the District Election Officer of Azamgarh, authorities found that the name “Vikas Yadav” appeared 13 times in Hindi on the rolls.

According to the CEO’s office, one of the entries belongs to a voter of the same name and age from the Chauri Chaura constituency in Gorakhpur district. Deletion proceedings have been initiated for two other duplicate entries.

The investigation revealed that the remaining 11 entries actually belong to 11 different individuals living in Azamgarh. Officials have now filled out Form-8 to correct the names and personal details of 10 of these individuals, ensuring only the actual Vikas Yadav remains on the roll under that name.

In response to the clerical lapses, the CEO directed the immediate removal of the responsible computer assistant and five BLOs from voter registration work. Authorities have also issued notices regarding the termination of their services.

Furthermore, the state election body has ordered charge sheets and departmental action against the then Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and two Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) for negligence and poor supervision. The three senior officials face potential action under Section 32 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.

The District Election Officer of Azamgarh has been directed to scrutinise voter lists across all assembly constituencies in the district and submit a comprehensive report within a week.

#General 📝 BREAKING: ECI files counter affidavit in Supreme Court on plea against CEC’s functioning; says petition built entirely on a single news report

Election Commission of India files counter affidavit in Supreme Court on plea against CEC's functioning; says petition built entirely on a single news report

What ECI says:

🔹 Affidavit approved unanimously by all three members: the CEC and both Election Commissioners

🔹 All three SIR orders (June 2025, October 2025, May 2026) were unanimous decisions of the Commission

🔹 Notes, queries or suggestions by the CEC or ECs while a file moves are not decisions of the Commission

🔹 Files go to one EC, then the other EC, then the CEC. In urgent cases, approval is taken electronically and recorded on file later

🔹 Any officer issuing orders beyond delegated powers will face action

🔹 July 28 work allocation order was issued by an Additional Secretary on deputation. Both ECs wrote to the Cabinet Secretary the next day. The order was never implemented after the ECs' joint direction of July 30

🔹 Form 6 has not been amended. Only the Centre can amend it. The SIR declaration is a separate document

🔹 Admits the online display could be read as an amendment. From October 21, the online application will be split into Form 6 and the declaration, as in the physical form

🔹 Unmapped voters need not attend hearings. BLOs will collect documents from their homes. Hearings only in exceptional cases, preferably online

🔹 ECINet: no name is added or deleted except by order of the ERO. A committee with experts from IIT and IISc has been set up to check compliance

🔹 Goa: of 97 "left out" voters, 88 had already been enrolled, 6 were abroad and 3 held Portuguese passports

🔹 West Bengal appeals against inclusion of voters were filed by officers of the CEO, West Bengal, under Supreme Court orders. "These matters were not brought to the Commission"

🔹 Plea to restrain the CEC is not maintainable. CEC can be removed only like a Supreme Court judge

🔹 Commission never released or authorised the release of any internal note or file to the media

🔹 Repeated challenges to EVMs already rejected by the Supreme Court

🔹 Short reply filed due to Dussehra vacation. ECI seeks liberty to file a detailed para-wise response

• 79% of Tap Water Access
• 75% of Metro Rail
• 71% of Port Capacity

A digitally altered video is being circulated with fabricated remarks attributed to Lt Gen Girish Kalia, claiming that China has taken control of Asaphila, Longjou and Taksing Circle in Arunachal Pradesh and that the Indian Army has been denied essential supplies. The misleading video attempts to portray fabricated statements as a leaked admission by a senior Indian Army officer. The video uses Synthetic Generated Information to falsely attribute remarks to Lt Gen Girish Kalia. The original footage relates to a press briefing delivered by then GOC 28 Infantry Division, Maj Gen Girish Kalia, in Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir, on 27 October 2023. He addressed infiltration attempts across the Line of Control, reporting 10 foiled attempts, the elimination of 27 terrorists and the recovery of warlike stores and narcotics. #Ask-India ☝️ Hard water problem in Kitchen and bathroom

Living on rent. Cannot afford RO right now.

Hard water in kitchen tap as well as in bathroom tap.

Worried about hair fall and kitchen utensils are getting white marks due to hard water in tap.

The hard water sofeteners at Amazon does not work. They don't reduce TDS.

Without reducing TDS, hard water does not become soft water.

Those water softeners at Amazon seems to only remove some chemicals but it does not make the water soft.

Is there any solution to soften hard water without RO ??
