Just got back home from a stint working away from home and put together this new 7 guitar stand and my gosh to see all those necks lined up like that is a bloody treat!

This isn’t all of them though and I’d like to put them all in a stand like this, does anyone have a link to a 12-15 guitar stand like this?

Bought this over the summer believing it was a pristine RG760 in Heather Pearl. When I got it everything was in pretty much new condition.. but the body was a repaint and a bad one to boot. Rather return it I decided to mod it and try to match Paul Gilbert's telesavalas model. I think I got pretty close! Kept the original gray bobbin F2 bridge and swapped the C2 for an injector neck but keeping the cover.

Already owning a 1980 ST50 studio, a 1983 DT150, a 1983 DT155, I made an offer on a 1980 IC50 iceman that was accepted, the unicorn missing from my stable.

I think I may be an addict, I need a support group.

I’ve gotten this guitar back in 2011 for my Bday as a gift from my grandpa. This guitar has been with me during my golden years of guitar playing, we have been in a band together, learned music theory, song writing, etc… Back in 2019 I’ve lended it to a (former) friend and he attempted to steal her from me! After a lot of back and forth and arguments and ghosting that I’ve gotten I had to get reinforcements, I’ve had my cousin with his friends go and pick her up for me. Finally when it was in his possession he gave it to my grandpa and he kept it at his garage for a few years till my mom finally went on a mission to grab her for me. And here we are today, finally reunited and she definitely needs a set up! I’m in such tears rn and full of joy and I’m glad she is all in 1 piece!!

You don't see these too often but I think they are severely underrated. Built in 1986, neck through construction, ebony board and surprisingly good pickups!

I saw this in a thrift store a while back, they had it for $250 with the OG case. After I pointed out the repaired headstock (not the neatest work but very solid), the rough finish and how dirty it was they offered it to me for $100 straight away, quite an easy choice.

In terms of sound/resonance I would put this up against any later RG I've tried, perhaps it's due to the neck through construction, perhaps it's just a good example. The funky extra pickup switches are entirely optional which is great. If you see one of these around and don't mind the 22 frets (vs 24 on later RGs) and the slightly rounded body I strongly advice you to not sleep on the Prolines, you can tell they were built with a lot of care.

I got this beautiful RG460DXROM today! It's so pretty, I'm afraid to play it. 🤣🤣
