I organized an AMA/Q&A with James McTeigue, director of V for Vendetta, starring Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving, Stephen Fry, John Hurt, and Stephen Rea. It's being re-released in theaters next week for its 20th anniversary.

The AMA post is live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:

He will be back at 3 PM ET today to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!

I’ve been writing about domestic violence, trauma, and healing for outlets like Women’s Health, SELF Magazine, and the Washington Post for six years. The book was a result of my own lived experience with sibling abuse as well as interviews with upwards of one hundred survivors, parents, researchers, therapists, and experts.

It was after I got out of an abusive relationship in my mid-20s that I really began to draw a connection between my experiences as an adult and the blueprint for relationships I’d grown up with. In my research, I found I was far from alone. Sibling abuse is the most common form of family violence—yet we rarely talk about it.

You can pre-order the book now from Penguin Random House (or make a request for your local library or indie to stock it). I also write on Substack and you can follow me there to learn more about the project, boor tour events, etc.!

Ask me anything about writing, sibling abuse, healing, or whatever!

Looking to answer as many questions as I can about the experience I had while in Prison during the Netflix Experiment, as both an inmate and a guard. Let me know what you want to know and I will respond!
