My sponge finally has a home — printed a little sitting caddy so it drains upright instead of living in a puddle
Our sink area was always a mess — the sponge lived flat in the sink or on the rim, leaving a wet ring and nowhere to actually dry. I printed a little sitting caddy with a drain in the bottom and articulated legs, so the sponge sits upright in one spot by the sink and the water drains out instead of pooling underneath.
It keeps the whole sink area tidier — the sponge has a designated place, it dries between uses, and there's no soggy puddle to wipe up.
I fit-tested it on a real classic Scrub Daddy and it holds it snugly. Printed in PETG, about 2 hours and 44 g for one.
Honest limits: I've only tried it with a classic Scrub Daddy so far — I haven't tested it with the bigger or differently-shaped sponges, so I won't claim that fit until I do.
Happy to answer questions about the print or the design.
