I'm happy to announce my first ever NES project: a faithful port of Geoff Crammond's Stunt Car Racer. As far as I know, this is only the second real 3D game for the NES after Elite, and the first to support NTSC consoles. This port is based on the original C64 version for its code, while the art is mostly adapted from the Amiga version. There's zero AI generated content in this game, be it code or art. Curious to see what people think!

I prompted Claude code to make an .NES game completely from scratch and with no base or rules. It created a game called Star Dodger. My son and I have been working on a new NES game called LEGIONNAIRES, and I thought some of you might enjoy giving the demo a try.

It's a run-and-gun game with a bit of a Contra and Metal Gear vibe. You get dropped on an island, shoot your way through enemy territory, and have to deal with some alarm puzzles along the way.

Funny thing is, quite a few people got stuck on one of those puzzles in the demo. I've just shared the solution, so I'm curious how many of you figured it out without help!
