Hey Highpoint!

During A&T's Homecoming, SisterSong is hosting the Black Men Trust Black Women Roundtable, and we'd love for you to join us!

📅 Wednesday, October 28 | 5:30–8:30 PM
📍 Center for Visual Artists, Greensboro
🎟️ FREE!

We're bringing together Black men from different generations for an open conversation about masculinity, fatherhood, relationships, mental and emotional wellness, bodily autonomy, community responsibility, and civic engagement.

Although the conversation centers Black men's perspectives and experiences, everyone is welcome to attend, listen, learn, and engage.

At a time when so much is designed to divide us, we want to create opportunities for meaningful conversations, accountability, and collective understanding.

Come ready to connect, reflect, and build community!

Hey guys any recommendations for a good PCP in the High Point area?

Happening today at 5:30pm at the Forsyth County Main Library in Winston-Salem.

Superb

Hi there! I’m Tori :)
I’m offering therapy sessions virtually throughout the state of NC, and have openings as early as next week! Feel free to email me at tori@reflourishnow.com with any questions or to schedule :)

Hi everyone! I moved to the area a week ago from New Orleans. I’d really appreciate recommendations of good hair salons, medical spas, dentists office, and karaoke spots with good/decent sound system. Thanks in advance!

Anyone know any restaurants or bars that have trivia night events in High Point. I know there are several in Greensboro and Winston but I would rather stay in the HP.

Anyone interested in tickets for tonight’s show? I have the following tickets available at $40/ticket:

Section 225, Row Z, Seats 16 & 17

Section 225, Row BBB, Seats 5 & 6

Section 225, Row BBB, Seats 9, 10, 11 & 12

***Edit: These are physical tickets and I’m more than happy to meet somewhere convenient to you. But, I WILL ONLY MEET IN A PUBLIC PLACE WHERE THERE’S A LOT OF PEOPLE AROUND. I’m getting requests to meet in remote places, their house, and even my house. I’m definitely not doing any of that. Not trying to be difficult, just safe. Thanks 😊

As the holidays approach and winter settles in, grief can feel especially heavy. At this session, participants will explore practical ways to approach the holiday season and prepare for the months ahead, creating a plan that honors their grief while supporting their needs, values, and traditions. The program will also include a meaningful time of remembrance to honor loved ones and a guided art activity where participants will create a special keepsake as a reminder that hope can still be found amidst loss.

We just need 2 more people to sign up so that we can have the class this Saturday. This Saturday and next Saturday, you’ll learn how to create 3D texture on canvas, and then bring it to life with acrylic paint. We'll teach how to make sand, waves, shells, grasses, flowers, rocks and trees with modeling paste. Come try something new and get your creative juices flowing. This class will be taught in English and Spanish, so feel free to invite a Spanish speaking friend.
