Hello. I'm a brazilian Hasanabi fan, mostly a youtube frog, so my presence in twitch chat is basically nonexistent (i go by Makhnomite on YT and Twitch). I don't wanna be one of the attention beggars, i'm aware Hasan has very limited time on his hands and has to focus on covering US elections as he's quite the active participant as it stands today, but i'd like to share a concerning development and a few arguments against an active effort by the Bolsonaro family to weaponize the Trump regime against my country.

THEY ARE TRYING TO ORGANIZE AN US INTERVENTION. Flávio's brother Eduardo has been working towards this goal for a while, and i have no doubts they will double down on the idea after this defeat. A few important allegations to question:

1. Claims of fraud due to election time extension: Due to bad climate conditions in the southern states, BOLSONARO'S CAMPAIGN ALSO ASKED FOR THE EXTRA TIME. Besides, only 34k votes were cast past 5pm, Lula achieved victory through an advantage of around 4.4 million votes, not relying on the extra time, which his campaign requested due to active efforts by local bolsonarista politicians and bus company owners to restrict available public transport in places where he had an electoral advantage.

2. Ignorance towards the 30 million abstentions in the 1⁰ turn of the election: most of the effort by André Janones (who organized the Lula's Army WhatsApp group) and other members of the campaign was directed towards closing the gap by reaching out to people who didn't vote for either candidate initially. This involved helping bring people who thought Lula had already won and did not vote initially, undecided voters, and even right-wing but anti-Bolsonaro voters.

3. Claims that third party candidates (mostly right-wing) votes would have migrated to Bolsonaro. This is FALSE, while a couple of the third party right-wing candidates endorsed Bolsonaro, another one campaigned against him and a center-right one abstained. Many third party voters dissaproved of both Lula and Bolsonaro, however were still willing to reluctantly vote for Lula due to his opponent's many scandals, unpopular policies and bad allies.

I do not wish to make any demands with this post, if anyone thinks it's relevant to bring this up to Hasan, be careful about it, he's already working against Trump through his usual output as a political commentator, perhaps this may come across as relevant, and he can pick it up if he has the time and desire to.

I'm feeling a bit desperate about the situation, and my online presence is mostly just as a lurker and avid commenter, so i decided to make a post about it here. I've heard Marco Rubio was behind Flávio's little runaway plan, and that made me quite concerned about what that might imply for us.
