Nice!

As a tip to avoid a cold arse when sleeping, I generally try and get my tarp staked so the edges are lower than my uq. This helps stop the wind blowing across your butt and stealing the heat from your uq.

Thanks for the tip on the tarp, I had it this high as I was a bit wary of my surroundings when I put it up and the weather was calm, was a bit of rain in the morning but lack of wind to warrant a low tarp set up. No doubt being in Scotland low tarp will be a go to as we get alot of wind and rain. 😂 Just got lucky a calm night before storm boelo arrives today and I don't think I'm ready for 80mph in a hammock 😂

Oh nice, also in Scotland myself! It's been bloody cold at night lately so you're doing well to get out in it. What uq are you using? Must be not bad to keep you warm right now

Edit: I think we're using the same one now I look!

Good on you. I absolutely love being all snuggled up in my hammock, with rain hitting the tarp and just enough wind to be gently rocking the hammock.
