I know everyone's got a boner for Price, and I'm sure Fowler feels it's an honour to be compared to a Great like this, but when are we going to actually give him his flowers without a comparison tacked on? His name is Jacob Fowler, and he's fucking unvelievable, and I think we can say that without living in the past. Like, we get it, MTL has had good goaltenders, it's hard not to bring it up, but I think he deserves to stand on his own, he's proving himself more than capable at this point.

Edit: I'm being genuine in that people that are good at what they do don't always have to be compared to their predecessors and should also get praise as their own person, idk why that's controversial man

Edit(again): wow some of you hate this, I'm not saying stop having fun or stop all together, I understand that Price was a great goaltender, I'm just wanting to have a discussion on merit and deserving your own praise

How crazy would it be if Fowler and Hage go back to back as Calder winners? I know, i'm skipping multiple steps, but looking at the odds, Fowler is currently 3rd. The only guys above him are McKenna and Stenberg, barely, and just behind him is Cole Hutson. I feel like he should be the favorite, just because he's stealing games. He looks like a superstar out there right now. 2 GA in his last 3 games. 6-1. He has a legitimate shot to run away with this.

Looking forward to next year with Hage's arrival, he's been learning in Michigan so far this season what it'd be like to be a 1C. Where he needs to be, getting elite at faceoffs, his shot is out of this world, and he's also a playmaker. Him and Demidov next year will be electric. Next year's class is looking weak as well. Has it ever been done before that a team went 4 straight seasons with either a Calder winner or a Calder runner up?

If nothing else, the rebuild should be considered a success due to the fact that we have this as even a possibility. Hutson/Demidov/Fowler/Hage.

Are the Habs the worst team facing an empty net? 6 minutes?? They just sag and let teams set up. Well, a win is a win but this is really bad.

Ladies and gentlemen we have our number one goalie, been saying it since last season, once Fowler is our official number one goalie we become immediate contenders. This kid is a proven winner, been following him for 3 years, he just wins wherever he goes, he loves being in the big moments and loves adversity. Plus he’s such a calm cat, this guy is a stud and the real deal!

45 freaking saves shutout, the kid might win star of the week 2 weeks in a row. Go Habs Go!

Meshuggah just announced their schedule for their 40th year anniversary tour this morning. They are stopping in Laval on February 13th, the same day as the Caps game in Montreal.

Anybody going to the show after the game?

What would we like to see going into playoffs? Monty coming back soon do we just trade home and let Fowler and Dobes battle it out? 2 young goalies? Or keep the 3 guy rotation? Do we play Monty in hopes he stands on his head and builds more of case for a good trade.

I know we have Engstrom and Reinbacher ahead of him. We also have Pickford returning soon and I’m dying to see how he translates to the A. I don’t watch the Rocket too much but he has 15 points in 9 games as a d-man and is leading the league. Has anyone watched a lot of him? What does his game look like outside of the points? Do we have a gem here or is it just a great rocket team? If he continues to dominate, will he enter the conversation for a possible call up?

I don’t hear a lot about him for how great he’s doing so I was wondering what the dealio is.

After my last post about Dobeš, a stop sign for Gator was inevitable! 🛑🐊

How do you guys like it?

As the 2026 Hometown Remix hits the shelves, let us remember the earliest example of a special jersey : the rarely seen black Habs jersey from the infamous Starter Fashion Jersey collection! Unlike HR, this one was not worn in games. GHG

Good things mentioned about him being stronger , etc.

"My Scouting Notes

• Stronger on his skates
• Excellent mobility
• Doesn’t stay on the perimeter; attacks the middle and the slot more
• Great creativity to draw the coverage and free up options
• Managed to keep his game simpler while his teammates indulged in fancy plays
• More confident along the boards
• Excellent shot, great hands, and able to absorb hits"

The guys from Habs Infinity put this thing together and I’ve been grinding it. Anyone in here go perfect yet?

If Fowler has a million fans, then I am one of them.

If Fowler has ten fans, then I am one of them.

If Fowler has only one fan then that is me.

If Fowler has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth.

If the world is against Fowler, then I am against the world.

*percentage lol - excuse my English 🥴🥴
