Then they cocked the hammer back aligning the loaded chamber with the barrel.

I only have six shots, so I'm going to have to make them count. But thank God break actions never jam.

I squeezed the spade grip tight and put my thumps on the trigger, and held my breath, waiting to ride the lightning.

At what point did the two guys in the pickup yell “this is MAGA country”?

After they put the imaginary rope around his neck, but before they dumped the imaginary gasoline on him.

It was a specially made Super Safety, also known as a Glock “Switch” that this guy just admitted to flicking. Poor guys wife’s boyfriend told him it was an actual safety.

u/ignoreme010101 Sep 02 '25
are those actually available for glocks yet? Thought just the questionable 'g force' triggers..
8
u/e-katt Sep 02 '25
Its really just an FRT for the glock, not an actual Hoffman Tactical. I was being a sarcastic ass which i need to do a better job at conveying. Its my natural tone ive been told lol. Glock also has the drop in auto seer that works decently. I mean bth the article could have been talking about the guys Glock 18C with the switch on the side, but thats even more doubtful 🤨

u/ignoreme010101 Sep 03 '25
drop in auto seer that
I mean, for 99% of people there's a reason they choose frt though!

u/Bad_Touchin_yo_feels Sep 02 '25
Was that before they loaded the high capacity 223 round clip?
12
u/Socratesmiddlefinger Sep 02 '25
It was the fully semi automatic version, that kind of semi auto that fires dozens of bullets with one trigger pull.
It is like a military assault style hunting rifle, but has the shoulder thingy that goes up.

u/Bad_Touchin_yo_feels Sep 02 '25
Those will blow your lung out!

No, you misunderstood.
They were giving the finger to the Glock Safe Action system in the firearm.

Fun fact: Glock makes pistols with manual safeties, they just won't sell them to civilians.

When he says he "flipped off the safety", he means he flashed a middle finger at a cop

Took me more seconds than I'd care to admit on that one. I hate getting older and so full of data....

My god this was painful to read. Fail that hard should come with consequences.
That said, "I'll take morons trying to make themselves Knowledgeable" for 1000 please...

It's from Inglorious Basterds. The guy holding up his fingers is a British spy showing the number 3. The way he's doing it is the amglosphere way, not the way germans would. The german picks up on this and realizes he is a british spy.

u/bxmxc_vegas Sep 02 '25 edited Sep 02 '25
In inglorious bastards this is a tense scene where a British spy is playing a game against an SS officer. The spy holds up three fingers like in the picture above and the German officer realizes he is a spy because Germans show three as the thumb, index, and middle finger. Exposition occurs. Shoot out occurs. Everybody dies. Scene.

Originated due to military testing. Later came to conclusions that it wasn’t necessary.

They exist in the wild but are almost exclusively contract guns for foreign law enforcement agencies and militaries.

It's waaaaaay more likely that the writer is a retard than somehow possessing a glock with a manual safety. In San Fran, CA of all places.
