Practicing like it’s a performance

Most of my learning / practice time lately has been less guitar technical skill focused and more improving my understanding of mixing and producing live performance over backing tracks. Ultimately I want to perform in this style, tracked drum, bass, some guitars, I primarily sing and play as much guitar as possible. I’ve managed to record something I don’t absolutely hate :)

Sounds good man, always great to practice standing up and singing. Don’t let people get you down, there’s a lot of types here that just sit and spend six hours learning a shred guitar solo note by note sitting in a desk chair(I’m one of them) rather than what you’re doing. No wrong type of guitar playing

The negative comments really surprised me here. It's solid guitar playing, good vocals and you've written an original catchy song. It's more interesting than a lot of the shredding videos that get posted here.
