Recently I've noticed something strange going on with the profiles for Naoki Hashimoto and Daisuke Ishiwatari on Spotify with the presence of some strange, very similar looking albums on each account. These being Beautiful Disaster and Break the Iron Silence.

Both have album covers featuring Sol Badguy or a very similar looking character at the centre with giant crosses and castles in the background and are seemingly ai generated (Could just be the lack of an artist in me but I'm pretty certain). I would include the covers but they turn out pretty weird on reddit.

I know Spotify has both had and still has problems with linking songs/ albums with their respective artists (As can be seen with there being two Naoki accounts in Naoki Hashimoto and NAOKI) so maybe it could be due to that...

Getting to the point, I've been wondering if these albums are from a bad actor/third party or whether the artists themselves have released them?

Does anyone know more about this?

Hello, everyone. I'm new to GGST and have clocked around 20 hours of playtime at the time of writing. It's my first fighting game and I'm having a blast. Through the past couple of days, I've made my way from Iron 2 to Silver 2. I've unfortunately come across a very, very weird issue.

It is almost every match that I fight someone who then increases tenfold in skill, when the 2nd round starts, or when a rematch occurs. I want to stress just how great this increase in skill is and how often it occurs. My friend, who introduced me to the game, jokes about the opponent letting his uncle play for him once he loses. But... surely not everyone has an uncle that's absolutely God-tier at GGST! Right!?

The most logical explanation I can think of is that the opponent gets a crystal clear image of how I play in the 1st round, then decides to apply it in the 2nd, once his health is restored. The issue with this is that I don't have that predictable of a playstyle. My aforementioned friend agrees with me here. He's a seasoned fighting game player and is himself perplexed by just how often this occurs and just how steep the jump in skill is.

I wanted to ask if anyone else has made a similar experience here. It really feels like the opponent is a CPU at times, that bumps up in difficulty once it gets an idea of how good you are at the game. Of course, this can't be, since the players I fight are real and have Steam profiles.

Am I alone here?

I'm a Chaos/Ram main and am bronze 2 with both atm. While playing with friends today, I tried Mei and I was lowkey cooking, so I decided to play some ranked for funsies after the play session ended.

Good news: I somehow placed in silver 1 - a huge jump in ranked, also making me the second best player of the group by rank.

Bad news: I continued playing and am rn on a 6 game loss streak. I sometimes can get a round in, but not often. And the worst thing is that I can't demote, so I'm stuck in this hell of people obviously better than me.

Guys, please help. Give me some simple combos, mixups, advice, good buttons, anything. I wanna keep playing Mei, but I need to get better on her or I'll just be stuck here in an eternal torment of losing to people who actually know what to do in an elo where I feel like I don't belong.

So I've been planning to get back on Strive after a long time without playing (before ranked system) and I was wondering, how do you properly lab in order to learn properly? Because most of the times I hit the lab I practice a few combo routes, safe jumps and oki setups (I play Gio), but I feel there's so much more I should be practicing. Do you guys have certain routines? Find random stuff and practice that? I'm genuinely curious about the "propper labbing" way.

Ok, so I'm plat3 with Asuka and I've got a few questions.

1#: how and when should I use staves? Currently they are basically non existing to me, I occasionally use slow staff, but other than that I've got no clue how to properly utilize any of them properly.(I know what each do).

2#: what test cases should I be prioritizing? My general gameplan is to get in TC3 as soon as possible because it's the coolest to me, but honestly it feels kind of iffy on whether or not it's very useful compared to the consistency of TC1.(I never touch TC2)

3#: how should I be spending meter on him? I mostly just use it for YRC, and most commonly sending out super cube in neutral hoping that they pressed something(obviously dumb).

In Strive, after a match, when the rematch/exit screen comes up, it doesn't show what the opponent is doing. Can't see if they rematched, if they didn't choose, if they are hovering over exit, etc, it just shows them hovering over rematch.

It is probably due to the frame bar mod I installed, then uninstalled later since game update kept breaking it and I was too lazy to update it. But even after I believe I uninstalled everything from it, the rematch/exit screen remains broken.

I'm pretty sure "Strive Frame Advantage 1.03" was what I installed. Maybe "Strive Frame Advantage 2.0" also, but unsure.

I have removed dwmapi.dll, removed StriveFrameData-dll.rar from Win64 folder, and removed StriveFrameData-pak.rar from ~Mods folder.
