Testing Swears

Good people of [r/Gresham](r/Gresham), I think I finally convinced automod to let us say fuck without getting our comments removed. Please comment fuck, or a fuck-inclusive swear below. If your comment is removed, I'll go back and approve it and use it to teach automod more words we can say because we're god damn adults.

EDIT: Damnit. I really thought I had it that time. Back to the drawing board. One day Automod will stop being so fussy. One day!!

Wait, what? I've never had a comment deleted on all of reddit for having a swear word.

I've had them deleted for other reasons (mostly about my disapproval of big corporations, billionaires, and unfettered late stage capitalism. They don't like it when you don't fall in line with their exploitation.) but never swears.

Edit: Well, I guess this is a first. Can confirm. Was removed.

Good news, automod doesn't understand slang. So fuckin' is kosher.

If I tell the automod to fuck off, will it take it personally?

Apparently, he will

Yeah reddit just removed mine. Well it says it did anyway but I still see it.

I approved it, but that means automod is still on his high horse.

This not correct. I just had my post removed by the auto-mod.

Is fuck-adjacent allowed?

2

u/Marinaisgo 13d ago

Apparently not. This was removed, I had to manually approve it.

u/nickheathjared 13d ago

Mine too though it’s still here. Let’s try FUH

FUH seems to work. Any misspelling seems to get through.
