Does anyone know if any of the companies nearby fix music boxes? I have a small music box my niece wound the wrong way and snapped a piece inside, and I really want it fixed.

Hey yall!
So I want to take my girl out somewhere but I’m not sure where. I’m not a big fan of Texas Roadhouse because of the controversy’s they had. I’ve been to just about every Japanese restaurant here. We don’t really eat seafood as my girlfriend can’t stand it. But I want to take her somewhere nice I’m not sure where tho.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Edit: Does anyone know about any good places to take her as well? Like an arcade, roller skating rink etc.? I also want to do a fun activity as well.

Hi everyone! I’m relocating to Greenville, NC, soon and looking for recommendations for the best home internet provider in the area. I’m looking for reliable internet with good speeds for working from home, video calls, and streaming, along with affordable monthly pricing and good customer service. Which provider do you recommend based on your personal experience? I’d appreciate feedback on Spectrum, Brightspeed, or any other available providers, including monthly costs, speeds, and any issues with outages or price increases. Thanks in advance!

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A Greenville restaurant is receiving high praise from an internationally respected restaurant guide.
Native Fine Diner has been selected as a Michelin Guide Recommended Restaurant.
In the recently published Michelin Guide American South, Native was commended for its upscale comfort dishes.
The downtown spot is owned by eastern Carolina native Luke Owens, who says the cuisine is inspired by his ENC roots and the rich resources and ingredients that make the region unique.
The guide raves about popular menu items, including the spaetzle mac and cheese, fried goat cheese salad and a chicken dish called the half poulet rouge.
The diner is located inside the restored former Carolina Grill Diner, a more than 100-year-old landmark in Greenville’s Historic Dickinson Avenue Arts District.
Native joins Sam Jones Barbecue on the list of eastern Carolina restaurants recognized by Michelin.

At the airport rally today Trump told Camp Lejeune veterans he would fast-track their claims if Republicans keep their majorities in congress.
““If we win the House and the Senate, I am directing the Department of Justice to settle all remaining legitimate claims as soon as possible.”
Sit with how shameless that is.
These Marines drank poisoned water on a base they were ordered to live on. Over 400,000 claims have been filed. Attorneys say their clients are dying while the government drags its feet.
Republicans have held the House, the Senate, and the White House for nearly two years. And the guy in charge of the DOJ that settles these claims shows up 14 days before an election to say help is on the way, as long as you vote for him first.
That’s not leadership. That’s a hostage negotiation where the hostages are sick veterans and the ransom is your ballot. Our NC vets and our country deserve better!
Also, a big thank you to the brave folks who stood up and spoke out inside the rally. It takes real guts to say it to his face when you know he will encourage violence. Keep making noise.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Pitt County commissioners voted unanimously Monday night to schedule a public hearing on a proposed temporary moratorium on data centers. The hearing is set for Nov. 16.
The vote followed a presentation by Pitt County Planning and Development Director Jonas Hill.
Hill said a moratorium would give the county time to study the impact of data centers. He highlighted regulatory gaps including a lack of standards for electrical load infrastructure, low-frequency noise compliance and air quality from generators.
“They use and consume a tremendous amount of water. There’s no standards for water usage in our current ordinance at all,” Hill said.
Hill said current ordinances regarding data centers do not distinguish between small or hyperscale facilities.
Hill said 24 counties in North Carolina currently have moratoriums on data centers, including Greene County and Wake County.
Several residents spoke in favor of a data center moratorium at the meeting, saying it is important for county leaders to have enough time to make an informed decision.
“Often it’s in community of color or working class communities because the billionaires impact these monstrous things. I think they can do that and get away with it because people might not know their rights,” Pitt County resident Don Cavellini said.
Another resident, Zoey Dixon, said data centers pose environmental, social and employment threats.
“I had nearly 10 years of tech experience. I am somebody who will not use AI, for example, and this has already cost me multiple job opportunities,” Dixon said.

Has anybody else noticed an increase in people asking for money over the last week? I've seen no less than 10 different people asking for money at the 10th street food lion in the past couple days. This isn't to diss homeless people or anything times are tough right now for everybody. I was just curious if there was any reason that might have caused an increase.

Not affiliated, not sponsored, just someone who’s lived here for a minute and thinks people should know more about our current federal representative.
Here are some things in his voting history and why it matters to Pitt County:
1. Food Stamps (SNAP)
What he did: Voted to add strict work rules and paperwork for food stamps up to age 64.
Why it matters: Over 32,000 Pitt County locals rely on food stamps to eat. Hundreds of thousands of older adults lose food help.
2. Medicaid (Free & Low-Cost Healthcare)
What he did: Voted to put strict rules and cuts on Medicaid.
Why it matters: 1 out of every 3 Pitt County residents (over 60,000 people) uses Medicaid. Over 3 million Americans could lose their health coverage.
When sick locals lose insurance, they still go to the ER. ECU Health already absorbs over $98 million a year in unpaid emergency care. Higher hospital debt leads to higher medical bills for everyone else.
3. Bank Overdraft Fees
What he did: Voted to block a rule that capped bank overdraft fees at $5.
Why it matters: Banks can keep charging you up to $35 every time your checking account dips below zero.
4. Foreign Military Aid & Lobby Cash
What he did: Voted to send billions of US tax dollars to foreign militaries, including Israel.
Why it matters: Took nearly $100,000 in campaign donations from pro-Israel lobbying groups like AIPAC.
5. ICE & Immigration
What he did: Voted to give ICE over $10 billion in tax money.
Why it matters: Pays for more federal agents, raids, and private detention beds.
6. Transgender Rights
What he did: Voted to ban trans students from school sports and end military health coverage for trans care.
Why it matters: Voted NO on laws that protect LGBTQ+ people from being fired or denied housing.
Know what is on the ballot and please go vote!

I'm honestly asking, not trying to troll. What is the difference if I vote early or on election day? I keep seeing ads and what not saying vote early.
