Went to read at the bar, have a drink, and eat some fries. They were nine dollars and tasted like they had been taken out of the freezer and put in the oven for five minutes.

Sorta soggy, sorta cold, and just tasteless.

I had maybe four and then stopped eating. Did I mention they were 9 dollars. Holy cow no thanks.

I’ve served in fine dining for years and recently started working at 2 bars in LES, one I had to quit bc of weirdos there (I’m a girl). I fell in love w the bar scene and have a bit of knowledge through the industry and some barbacking. I’m easy to teach, social, and want to bring community together in the neighborhood! My bar is too busy to show me but can vouch for how I move. Happy to provide socials to show my vibe

I am up Nassau near Morgan and around 4am tonight we woke up and had to close the windows as there was some sort of very toxic fumes coming in.

I am not sure if it was just exhaust but I am up a few floors. Curious if anyone else experienced it and if maybe it was the asphalt plant with some wind?

So I'm in a temporary pickle where I'm not covered by insurance, but still need to go to a primary doctor and cardiologist for a pre-existing condition I'm due to check up on.
