👋 Welcome to r/GoFundMeForNewUsers

Welcome to GoFundMeForNewUsers. I understand how hard it is to get your GoFundMe campaign posted on Reddit, having tried to advertise my own campaign at the beginning of this year.

That’s why I created this subreddit—to give new Reddit users a chance to spread the word about their campaigns.

Please feel free to post information about any valid GoFundMe campaign here. We do not tolerate harassment, so posters can feel welcome to advertise their campaigns without fear of backlash from the community.

Please be respectful when commenting on a post. Understand that it’s hard enough to ask for help without someone criticizing or demeaning you. We want to see only help and support here for those in need.

Lastly, if you’re posting, please be sure to include a link to your GoFundMe campaign so I can verify that you have a valid campaign to advertise.

Rules, Clarification, Praise

I will organize and clean up this post when I have time.

Updated 10/18/26

**READ THIS BEFORE POSTING OR COMMENTING IN THIS SUB** If you do not agree with the rules below, do not comment or post in this sub.

*Update 10/18/26: AI is not against this sub’s rules. Stop reporting people for using AI on their fundraiser. GoFundMe has built in AI features and encourages those making the fundraiser to use them.

*Update 10/18/26: We no longer allow fundraisers for “just an experiment.” Stop posting fundraisers here stating “if 1 million people donated $1 each.” You will be permanently banned for these types of posts as it’s a myth and usually a scam. While we do not require you to have a specific need to post your fundraiser, these “just trying an experiment” posts are not allowed.

*Update 9/1/26: We have many single parents who post their fundraisers here. Stop asking them “why can’t the other parent help.” “Where is the other parent?” “Why aren’t you getting child support?”
-Not everyone has a partner who sticks with them during and/or after pregnancy. Not everyone has someone else to help. Some have experienced the tragic loss of a partner. Not everyone gets child support, even if it is court ordered.
I notice this mostly happening to single mothers. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen to single fathers, but I have not seen them treated as badly here as single mothers. Going forward, this will be treated as harassment, regardless of which parent is posting the fundraiser.

*Update 8/31/26: Clarification to the 12 Hour No Spam rule-you are allowed to delete your posts and not repost. You are allowed to edit your post. You are allowed to delete your post and make a new post, if you left something out of the original post that cannot be added via editing, but please make sure you notate your post. Something like “adding additional photo/information left out of original post” is sufficient. This will let us know that you are not trying to evade the 12 Hour No Spam rule.
-We have people who delete their posts and then make a new post when they are not receiving the amount or type of engagement they want. That is considered violating the 12 Hour No Spam Rule.

**Update: As of 8/27/26 we will no longer accept posts using Fundrazr.
This is a banned URL by Reddit. Reddit’s filters will automatically remove your post and mark it as spam, and in some cases they will suspend/ban your account. It doesn’t seem to matter if the sub approves the post, Reddit’s filters will override our approval. GoGetFunding and Fundrazr are now the 2 that we do not allow.

*Update 8/23/26: Crossposting is no longer allowed. Users were not following our rules and would leave out their fundraising links, or spam the sub. In an effort to prevent this, we will no longer allow crossposting.

*Update 8/12/26: As of today, 8/12/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for community charity. This includes posts claiming to raise money to donate to the needy, disabled, homeless, pet rescues, natural disaster victims, etc., as well as some other causes. We cannot guarantee that these donations will be used for the intended purpose or reach the specified recipient. We will no longer allow this, as a safety feature for everyone.

*Update 8/6/26: As of today, the 8 hour No Spam rule will be changed to 12 hours, due to the amount of traffic in this sub. Please allow 12 hours between posts (see more info below under the “No Spam” section). You may NOT delete your post and then repost it to evade the 12 hour no spam rule. If we see you doing this, you will be permanently banned.

*Update 7/21/26: As of today, we will no longer accept posts using GoGetFunding.

Hey Community:

I want to address several things:

Rules:
We have a character limit in the rules section so we cannot include everything. I would like to provide some clarity on them at the suggestion of a community member.

Crowdfunding Only
This community is primarily for promoting GoFundMe fundraising campaigns, although we will consider other platforms as well. We do not allow direct payment apps such as PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, BuyMeACoffee, Ko-Fi, etc. GoGetFunding and Fundrazr is no longer allowed as Reddit has banned the URLs. Posts without a valid link to a crowdfunding campaign will be removed.

We accept posts for many crowdfunding sites, but not personal/direct payment apps or sites. We do not allow direct payment apps such as PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, BuyMeACoffee (Ko-fi), etc. We do not allow e-transfers, money transfers, money wires, gift cards, etc.

-We do not allow personal orders such as Amazon Wishlist, Instacart, Walmart, etc. This sub is only for crowdsourcing fundraisers.

-We do not allow campaigns hosted/created by digital marketers using web-based ad tracking software (example: Click Magic Marketing). While we understand that basically everything has ad tracking, we will not open up our sub to additional tracking from these types of companies.

-We allow the crowdsourcing sites, such as GoFundMe, so your donations are protected in many situations under the Donor Protection Giving Guarantee. If the campaign you donated to ends up not being a legitimate campaign, or GFM chooses to shut down the campaign, your donation will usually be refunded.

-Posters may post their own personal fundraiser, or fundraisers for their family, friends, or coworkers, here for any reason. We do not require a specific cause or need. Some posts may be locked due to the topic to prevent trolling.

-Update 8/12/26: As of today, 8/12/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for community charity. This includes posts claiming to raise money to donate to the needy, disabled, homeless, pet rescues, natural disaster victims, etc. We cannot guarantee that these donations will be used for the intended purpose or reach the specified recipient. We will no longer allow this as a safety feature for everyone.

-As of 7/21/26, we will no longer accept posts using GoGetFunding.
This is a banned URL by Reddit. Reddit’s filters will automatically remove your post and mark it as spam, and in some cases they will suspend/ban your account. It doesn’t seem to matter if the sub approves the post, Reddit’s filters will override our approval.

-As of 8/27/26 we will no longer accept posts using Fundrazr.

It doesn’t seem to matter if the sub approves the post, Reddit’s filters will override our approval. GoGetFunding and Fundrazr are now the 2 that we do not allow.

-You must already have a GoFundMe campaign, or other crowdfunding campaign, before posting in this community. You may not ask other users in this sub to start a campaign for you.

-When submitting a post for your campaign, please provide the link to the campaign in the body of the post instead of in the title. This will allow other users to easily access your campaign. You may want to provide a description about your campaign in the body of the post as well. This can allow for better visibility. We do not allow “link in bio” posts. We do not allow “DM me for link” posts. If your post doesn’t contain all of the information we require, your post will be removed and you may be prohibited from posting here in the future.

-If you contact a member of this community via DM to try to solicit donations to your CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc. instead of using a reputable crowdfunding site, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-Crossposting is no longer allowed. Users were not following our rules and would leave out their fundraising links, or spam the sub. In an effort to prevent this, crossposting is no longer allowed.

NSFW
We will not tolerate content that is not safe for viewing by the general public. We also ask that you refrain from posting photos of graphic images.

-This one is self explanatory. Because people of all ages are part of this community, we want to keep them safe and prevent exposure to mature content.

-Please refrain from posting photos of graphic images. Many people are uncomfortable with this.

No Ban Evasions
If you are banned from this sub and use another account to post/comment in this sub, your post/ comment will be removed, your alt account banned, and you will be reported to Reddit for ban evasion.

-Reminder from the Reddit Admin team: If you use another account to circumvent this community ban, that will be considered a violation of the Reddit Rules and may result in your account being banned from the platform as a whole.

No Spam
It's okay to post the same GoFundMe, or other crowdfunding campaign, multiple times, but not at the same time. Let's give other people a chance to share their campaigns. Please allow at least 12 hours before reposting your campaign.

-Please allow 12 hours between posts for your campaign. If you see something that needs to be fixed but are unable to edit the post, please remove the original post and then submit a new post with the corrections. This will help prevent posts from being labeled as spam and removed by Reddit’s filters. If you leave both posts up, we are likely to remove the corrected (second) post and leave the first post.
You may NOT delete your post and then repost it to evade the 12 hour no spam rule. If we see you doing this, you will be permanently banned.

-Clarification to the 12 Hour No Spam rule-you are allowed to delete your posts and not repost.

-Posting the same campaign under different Reddit accounts, back to back, is also considered spam. Posters using multiple accounts to get around the No Spam rule will have their posts removed, and all of the accounts involved with this rule evasion will be permanently banned.

No Harassment
We will not tolerate harassment of any kind in this community. Everyone is free to post their crowdfunding campaigns without fear of judgement or retaliation. If you don't like someone's reason for requesting financial assistance, then you're free to not donate to their cause. There's no need to post nasty comments or remarks. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate that if you found yourself in need of financial assistance. This includes insulting others, name calling, etc. Keep it civil.

-Posters: If you include “no negative comments” in your post, your post will be locked so nobody can comment on it.

-This is not a loan sub. This is a donation sub. Asking if posters will “pay donors back” after they receive an insurance settlement or pay out is considered harassment. If you expect to be paid back then don’t donate, as that would be a loan, not a donation.

-This is the bigger issue. Harassment doesn’t consist of only cursing at someone or name calling. Harassment includes insulting others, calling them lazy, telling them they should remove their campaign or that they are “ridiculous” for posting it, interrogating the OP, criticizing the fundraiser amount, criticizing how much the campaign has received, criticizing their cause, hating on them for where they live, criticizing their account age and karma, calling them out for hidden posts and comments, calling them out for posting on other financial assistance subs, labeling the OP as a “scammer,” etc. This will no longer be tolerated. Any form of harassment and hate will be removed. You may or may not receive a warning before receiving a permanent ban.

-It is ok to ask the OP questions. It is not ok to interrogate the OP. Some information is not our business and OP is under no obligation to share it.

-Posts with too many harassing or intrusive comments may be locked without warning. Some posts may be locked immediately due to the reason for the fundraiser. This is not done as a punishment to the OP. This is to protect the post and OP from harassment and badgering. No, we will not remove the lock.

-If you take a screenshot of a post from this sub and post it in another sub for the reason of harassing the OP and/or encouraging others to harass the OP, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact an OP from this sub via DM to harass them privately about their campaign, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact an OP from this sub via DM to ask for sexual favors in exchange for making a donation to their campaign, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact a commenter or donor from this sub via DM to offer sexual favors in exchange for receiving a donation to your campaign, your campaign will be removed and you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact a donor from this sub via DM to solicit donations because they have donated to you before, or because you see they donated to a different campaign, you will be permanently banned. Donors usually have a limited amount of funds and cannot afford to donate more to you or to other campaigns. No amount of asking them is going to change that.

-If you harass a commenter because they have not donated to your campaign, you and your campaign will be permanently removed from this sub.

-We have many single parents who post their fundraisers here. Stop asking them “why can’t the other parent help?” Where is the other parent?” “Why aren’t you getting child support?”

-AI is not against this sub’s rules. Stop reporting people for using AI on their fundraiser. GoFundMe has built in AI features and encourages those making the fundraiser to use them.

No Scams/No Scammers
We will not tolerate scams or scammers. If your campaign is found to be fraudulent, your post will be removed and you will be permanently banned from this sub. Do not make posts requesting that strangers create a fundraising campaign for you.

-This sub was created to help those who are new to Reddit and/or those who do not have enough karma to post in other financial assistance subs. Everyone is free to post their campaign here: both new and old accounts. GoFundMe, and other crowdfunding sites, encourage their users to post their campaigns on Reddit for more visibility and activity. That is part of the reason for the new accounts. Not everything is a scam. We will not tolerate comments calling the OP a scammer, especially when there is no proof.

-We do not have the resources to investigate, or the skills to determine, if a campaign is fraudulent. That should be handled by the crowdsourcing site since they do have the resources to investigate and make a determination. As noted above, we only allow posts containing specific crowdfunding sites as many of them have a Guaranteed Donor protection clause and will refund donations if the campaign is found to be fraudulent.

-If you have proof that a campaign is fraudulent, contact the mods so we can review the evidence and remove the campaign and OP if necessary.

-As of 8/12/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for community charity.

-Posters: If the campaign you posted is discovered to be fraudulent, you and your campaign will be permanently removed from this sub.

-As of 10/18/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for “just an experiment.” Stop posting fundraisers here stating “if 1 million people donated $1 each.” You will be permanently banned for these types of posts as it’s a myth and usually a scam. While we do not require you to have a specific need to post your fundraiser, these “just trying an experiment” posts are not allowed.

No Hijacking/Piggybacking
Make a new post for your fundraiser. Do not hijack or piggyback other posts by commenting with your campaign link. The only exception is if you are commenting on your own post.

Not A Loan Sub
**This is not a loan sub.*\* This is a donation sub. Asking if posters will "pay donors back" after they receive an insurance settlement or pay out is considered harassment. If you expect to be paid back then don't donate, as that would be a loan, not a donation.

No Loans/ No Amazon Wishlist, etc
This is NOT a loan sub. This is NOT an Amazon wishlist (or any other store list) sub.
This is a crowdfunding sub for crowdfunding campaigns, such as GoFundMe, only.
Making a post without a link to a crowdfunding campaign, and/or asking for a loan, and/or for people to buy through your list/wishlist will result in your post being removed and a permanent ban.

No Advertising Businesses
You may not advertise your business in this sub. If your post contains a link to your business website, even if you claim to be donating a percentage of your profits to charity, your post will be removed and you will be permanently banned.
This is a crowdfunding only sub, through legitimate crowdfunding sites that offer donor protection.

Description
This is an alternative community for publishing posts regarding GoFundMe campaigns with fewer restrictions than the current charity related reddit communities.

-This means that everyone is free to post their campaign in this sub, regardless of the age of their account or their karma rating. We do not feel it is our place to say who can and cannot post their campaign. So many people are having a rough time. It’s hard for almost everyone. These OPs are being vulnerable by putting their life on display, giving us information that really isn’t our business, because they need the help. We are not going to kick them while they’re down.

Praise
We just want to say thank you to those of you who are supportive of others in this sub. Not only do you provide financial support in some cases, but you provide moral support for the OPs in the comments. Some of you also provide great advice, point them in the direction of specific resources, help them find organizations within their own communities, etc. While the campaigns are requesting financial support, the moral support, the resources, the advice, and the other information you provide, can be so helpful in some cases. We just want to say that we see you and we appreciate you!

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, about anything addressed above, please let us know. You can put it in a comment or you can message the mods.

Disclaimer:

•This sub and its Mods are not affiliated with GoFundMe, or any other fundraising website or platform, in any way. We are not employees of GoFundMe, or any other fundraising website or platform. We do not accept applications for GoFundMe campaigns, or any other fundraising website or platform.
This is just a Reddit sub where Reddit users can post their fundraising campaign, despite the age of their account or their karma rating, as long as they follow the sub rules.
•Posting your fundraising campaign in this Reddit community is not a guarantee that you will receive donations.

I Coul Really Use Some Help Right Now

Hello everyone, I had posted gofund up months ago after losing my job at the end of March of this year. I have been applying for jobs and had a few interviews which they never responded back to me even after calling to check up on everything. It is really hard out here right now. For a single mother of two boys and my youngest is autistic. I have been struggling with paying my rent of course. I was on the verge of getting evicted and some had donated to me so I would still keep my place. I'm not going to lie I do receive SSI for my youngest which is not nearly enough, but hell it's something. Because I have other bills to pay. I did have my water cut off during my time of asking for help and doing the gofund so I stopped posting because I had lost hope. I have been going through so much mentally and I even started writing an audio series which hasn't gotten anywhere. I have over 6k plays but I still haven't been invited to a contract. And I have three series out. I just recently had another job interview last week but I'm coming into another week and nothing yet. I've called only to be told that the manager would call me back. No call yet. I'm just asking for a small donation to be able to pay the rest of my rent that my landlord is asking for. Until I am able to get a job, I really just want to work and provide for my children but I'm playing catch up right now and I just need a little boost to keep everything a float. If you could be so kind to donate to my gofund or you can message me if you want to donate another way like many have that would be amazing. Blessings to you all and thank you. Any additional funds raised will go strictly towards essential household needs for my children while I secure new employment.

I Lost My Mom and My Cat, and I'm Struggling to Rebuild My Life. Any Help Would Mean the World to Me

Thumbnail whydonate.com

My name is Kenneth Alberto, I'm 20 years old, and I'm from Guatemala. I never thought I would reach a point where I would have to ask for help this way. I've always tried to get through difficult times on my own, but lately, things have become very complicated for me, and I no longer know how to resolve my situation.

On November 15, 2024, my mother passed away. She was only 50 years old. It all started with what seemed like a simple cough, but her health got worse, and I had to take her to the hospital. The doctors discovered that she had pneumonia, and she had to stay in the hospital. I stayed with her, and that day, while I was by her side, she passed away.

There are no words to explain what losing her meant to me. My mother was practically everything to me. I grew up without my father being present, and she was the one who raised me, took care of me, and was always there for me.

After her death, I went through a very difficult period. I struggled to concentrate, make decisions, and find reasons to keep moving forward as I had before. I felt like I had lost a very important part of my life.

A few months later, I also lost Marcelo, my cat. To many people, he was simply a pet, but to me, he was like a son. After losing my mother, Marcelo was my companion, and losing him affected me deeply as well. All of this pushed me into a depression that I've only just begun to recover from.

Shortly before my mother passed away, I had started a business with the hope of getting ahead in life. But after everything that happened, I couldn't continue with it as I had planned. My financial situation began to get worse, and I ended up turning to bank loans to get through everything.

Over time, what I thought would be something temporary turned into a debt that has become increasingly difficult for me to pay. I currently owe approximately Q160,000, around USD 21,000. I've tried to keep up with the payments, but the monthly installments and interest make it very difficult to get out of this situation.

As if that weren't enough, I'm diabetic and have to buy Lantus insulin. Here in Guatemala, insulin is quite expensive because I don't have any institution helping me with medications, which makes my situation even more complicated. Right now, I'm just surviving, and I've been living like this for a year. Sometimes I no longer find meaning in my life because there's no one waiting for me at home, and I can't even go out to take my mind off things or spend time with friends. Everything comes down to working overtime just to be able to make the payment at the end of the month, eating very little just to get by. Sometimes I think about giving up, but doing that would be an insult to my mother's memory because she worked her entire life to make sure I was okay and to give me a future. I always try to get back on my feet, but now it has become difficult for me, and that's why I'm looking for a little kindness and asking for help. At least with your donations, I'll be able to reduce the burden I'm carrying, and I'm glad to have your support.

I know that my financial decisions are my responsibility, and I don't want to blame anyone for what I'm going through. I'm simply going through a time when I need help to get back on my feet and regain stability in my life.

It's very difficult for me to write this because I never thought I would have to share my personal problems to ask for help. However, I want to try because I truly want to get out of this debt, regain my peace of mind, and have the opportunity to start over.

If you can help me with any amount, I'll be grateful from the bottom of my heart. And if you can't donate, sharing my campaign would also mean a lot to me.

It hasn't been easy to open up this way, but I want to believe that I can still move forward and regain hope for a better future.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for any help you can give me.

Hello everyone,

My name is Sagar , and I am going through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I suffered a severe brain stroke that caused a blood clot in my brain and paralysis. I underwent emergency brain surgery, but my medical journey is far from over.

Doctors have advised further urgent brain surgery and heart treatment, including angioplasty due to serious heart blockages. I am trying my best to recover, but the cost of continued treatment has become a huge financial burden for my family.

We have already spent approximately ₹10,00,000 on my treatment, and I now need an additional ₹20,00,000 to undergo the necessary procedures and continue my care.

I am reaching out with hope and humbly asking for your support. Every contribution, no matter how small, can help me access the treatment I urgently need. If you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser could help me reach others who may be willing to help.

Please Help Kaitlin Move Iut

My name is Kaitlin, and I’m starting this fundraiser for myself because I need help getting out of a family situation after college.

I graduated ready to start my career and build my life, but instead I’ve been stuck at home in an environment that has deeply affected my confidence, my mental well-being, and my sense of hope. Before I came home, I felt sure of myself and personable. Since being here so long, I’ve become isolated and feel like I’ve regressed in ways that are painful to admit. More than anything, I want the chance to leave, be safe, and begin rebuilding my life.

The support from this fundraiser will go toward the practical costs of relocating, including boxes, bus tickets , a moving truck, and other moving expenses that stand between me and a fresh start. I know there are so many demands on people right now, and in this economy, I don’t take any support lightly. But if you’re able to help, you would be giving me more than help with moving costs; you would be giving me a real chance to start my life again, find happiness, and hold onto hope. Even sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to me.

Thank you for reading, and for helping me take the first step toward safety and a future I can believe in again. Link to my gofundme

Help for my brother please 🥲💔

• Upvotes

💔 PLEASE HELP US BRING MY BROTHER HOME! 🙏❤️
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help during one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced.
My brother, Andri, has been living in the United States for over four years. He is a hardworking, responsible, and loving person who has always tried to do everything right.
Unfortunately, he was detained by ICE while attending one of his regular immigration appointments. Despite having an ongoing immigration case and following his reporting requirements, he is now separated from his family.
Our hearts are broken. 💔 We miss him every single day, and we are doing everything we can to bring him back home.
We have started a GoFundMe to help cover his legal expenses and fight for his opportunity to return to his family.
🙏 Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this post. Even one share could help us reach someone willing to help.
We are not asking for much, just a chance to have our family together again.
❤️ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.

Please help us bring Andri home. 🕊️❤️

Trying to get my family back on our feet after a difficult period

Hi everyone,
I’m from Germany, and my family has been going through a really difficult time. After a traumatic incident, ongoing personal challenges, moving expenses, and unexpected car repairs, several bills have piled up and we’re struggling to catch up.
I’m trying to clear around €5,500 in outstanding bills so my wife, our young daughter, and I can get back on our feet and start fresh.
Asking for help is difficult for me, but even sharing this fundraiser means a lot. If you can’t donate, simply sharing it would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

Architecture graduate student seeking help with December rent and essential expenses

Hi everyone, I’m Gretchen, an architecture graduate student asking for help getting through a difficult financial stretch.

Both of my parents have passed away, and I’m navigating graduate school without parental financial support. My dad died a year ago, and balancing grief, an intensive program, and everyday expenses has been difficult.

I’m raising funds for rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation, with November and December expenses—especially December rent—as my immediate priority. Any remaining funds would provide a modest cushion for essential expenses as I continue toward graduation.

Asking for help isn’t easy, but any contribution or share would mean a great deal. Thank you for reading and considering supporting me.

Help Me Overcome Student Loan Debt and Rebuild My Future

• Upvotes

I'm starting this fundraiser because I'm facing a financial burden that has become increasingly difficult to manage on my own. I have approximately $100,000 in student loan debt, and I'm trying to find a way forward while building a more stable future for myself.

When I began college, I had a clear goal: to pursue a career in nursing. I understood the program I was entering to be a direct-admit nursing program, and I made decisions about my education and finances based on that understanding. However, I later learned that the program was not direct admission as I had been led to believe. Despite being a pre-nursing student, I was not accepted into the nursing program and ultimately had to change majors.

This experience significantly changed the course of my education and career. I had taken on student loans believing I was working toward a particular professional future, and I found myself in a very different situation than the one I had anticipated. Looking back, I wish I had fully understood the circumstances and long-term financial implications before taking on so much debt.

Today, I'm left trying to manage approximately $100,000 in student loans while working 30hr weeks and earning around $400/$450 a week. Between my income, living expenses, and other basic necessities, I'm barely making ends meet. Interest continues to accumulate, and the thought of carrying this debt for years to come is a constant source of stress.

I'm doing my best to move forward and build a future for myself, but making meaningful progress on this amount of debt with my current income feels incredibly difficult. I don't expect anyone else to solve all my problems, but I'm hoping that with some help, I can make this burden more manageable.

My goal is to raise $50,000 toward my student loan debt. Reaching this goal would significantly reduce what I owe and give me an opportunity to regain some financial stability. It would help me move forward with less financial pressure as I continue working toward a career that aligns with my education and experience.

Asking for help isn't easy, especially when it comes to something as personal as finances. However, I'm sharing my story in the hope that others might understand my circumstances and be willing to help.

If you're able to donate, any amount would mean so much to me. If donating isn't possible, sharing this fundraiser with others would also make a difference. Every contribution and act of support would bring me closer to my goal.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me through this difficult chapter of my life. Your kindness and generosity would mean more to me than I can express.

Help Snowy and her kitties

Hi everyone! This is my gorgeous baby, Snowy. She was given to me by the cat distribution system, just kinda moved in and I happily welcomed her xD. When she came to me she was underweight, dirty and had a flea infestation. I've tried my best to feed her and take care of her, but I cannot afford to do so as well as I'd like to at the moment. I also can't afford to get her neutered or anything like that. I'm currently looking for a new job, but it's been difficult. I'm posting here because she recently got pregnant and I'm afraid I won't be able to take proper care of her and her soon-to-be-born kittens. If anyone is able to donate anything to help me take care of Snowy and her kitties, I will leave her Backabuddy link at the bottom. This is my first time posting in a sub like this, so any advice, donations and shares would be appreciated. I will update and post pictures when the kitties are born as well. Thank you from Snowy, her kittens and I xD

Side note : I'm not from any of the countries where GoFundMe works, so I used a similar alternative that I found. If this is not allowed, I apologize :(.

Help my father recover from a severe leg fracture urgently

I am raising funds for my father, Jay Kukreja, who is 51 years old and is currently in critical need of medical attention in Guwahati, Assam. He has been diagnosed with Tibial Hemimelia (THM) following a severe leg fracture he sustained in an accident. His condition requires immediate surgical intervention, and every day of delay increases the risk of permanent damage and complications...

Thor still has a long recovery 🥲🐾 #RescuedPitbull

Hi everyone,

Thor is still battling blood parasites and a persistent infection.

It breaks my heart that he has been struggling with this for so long. Thankfully, his latest lab results continue to show some improvement, which gives us hope. I just wish our sweet Thor could finally recover completely. He has already been through so much, and all I want is for him to be healthy and happy.

If Thor continues to test positive for blood parasites at his next appointment, we will proceed with imidocarb injections as recommended by his veterinarian. Unfortunately, this treatment will be more expensive due to his weight.

We humbly ask for your continued support so we can provide Thor with the veterinary care and treatment he needs. He has already endured so much, and we just want to see him fully recover and live a healthy, happy life. ❤️🙏

My son (11years) has Thalassemia Major - File 1054 at Kurunegala Hospital, Sri Lanka - Needs BMT - GoFundMe not supported in our country so using GiveSendGo

I am Vihansa's mother from Sri Lanka.

My son: L.P.T. Vihansa Jayalath

Age: 11 years old, DOB: 09.12.2015

Diagnosis: Thalassemia Major since 3 months old

Hospital: National Thalassemia Center, Teaching Hospital Kurunegala, File No: 1054

He needs blood transfusion every 3 weeks. Every night he is connected to a Desferal pump (Iron Chelation) for 8-10 hours to remove iron. If we stop, his organs will fail.

He asks me, "Amme, will I never get better?"

The only cure is Bone Marrow Transplant at Narayana Health Hospital, India. Cost: $54,000 for surgery alone. Total needed with travel/meds is $70k-$80k.

We are from Wadurassa, Daladagama, Mahawa, Kurunegala. We are a low income family and cannot afford it.

Why GiveSendGo? Sri Lanka is NOT supported by GoFundMe for creating fundraisers, so we are using GiveSendGo.

Michigan dad of five trying to keep his kids in their home

Post image
19 Upvotes

Hi, my name is Tim. I'm 56 years old and live in Michigan, where I'm raising five kids at home.

I've worked most of my adult life in. Over the past year, health problems, work not being steady, and expenses I didn't expect all hit at the same time. I fell behind, and I haven't been able to catch back up.

My mortgage statement shows $11,555.38 due. This is the home my kids live in, and I'm trying not to lose it. Our only vehicle is a 2005 with over 200,000 miles on it. It needs a lot of work, and I need dependable transportation to get to jobs and take care of my family.

I started a GoFundMe for $20,000:

  • $12,000 toward catching up on the mortgage
  • $5,000 toward repairing or replacing the vehicle
  • $2,000 toward essential household expenses
  • $1,000 toward fees and unexpected costs

I'm not asking anyone to finance a business or one of my software projects. This is only for the house, the vehicle, and keeping the household going. I'll post updates on the GoFundMe as any money is used.

Asking strangers for help is not something I ever thought I would do. If you can donate, thank you. If you can't, sharing the link would help too.
