Heard an oldie and had an aerobics class flashback. Has this happened to anyone else?
In public I heard the Michael McDonald song Sweet Freedom, and suddenly had the impulse to do the routine I did to it in a Jazzercise class back in 1986.

WFH vs Full Retirement
If you could continue to work, and by wfh I mean full remote so you could actually work on some beach in Costa Rica, or would you want to fully dump the whole thing in the bin?

She was the Moonbase commander, and pretty easy on the eyes.

It's 1975 and you're 10 years old. What's your mom cooking?

The Giving Tree - Shel Silverstein
Some days this hits harder than other days.....
...And after a long time the boy came back again.
"I am sorry, Boy," said the tree, "but I have nothing left to give you- My apples are gone."
"My teeth are too weak for apples," said the boy.
"My branches are gone," said the tree."You cannot swing on them."
"I am too old to swing on branches," said the boy.
"My trunk is gone," said the tree. "You cannot climb."
"I am too tired to climb," said the boy.
"I am sorry," sighed the tree. "I wish that I could give you something... but I have nothing left. I am an old stump. I am sorry..."
"I don't need very much now," said the boy, "just a quiet pleace to sit and rest. I am very tired."
"Well," said the tree, straightening herself up as much as she could, "Well, an old stump is a good for sitting and resting. Come, Boy, sit down. Sit down and rest."
And the boy did. And the tree was happy."

If you know what this is, how to use it, and had a trunk big enough to hold it you are getting pretty old …

Today is the Day
I’m sitting in my empty office. Getting ready for the little Happy Hour gathering with my residents.
I love them and will miss them.
Dropping my keys and phone off tomorrow.
Retirement has pretty much commenced!!!! Happy, but a bit sad.

Know It All?
At what age did you stop being a “know it all”? To me there are two phases. First, when you are open minded to listen, and later when you realize how much you still have yet to learn?

Does anyone remember
A grade school club in the late 60s called the SOS club, which stood for stamp out stupidity. It was a club against drugs and it’s so little stickers and posters. I have looked everywhere online for any reference to this, and I can’t find it. Anyone?
