My bias in the show. Shes hot and her powers are awesome.
I support her rights and her wrongs lol

Pictures by series costume designer Laura Montgomery.
This is probably the best view of Cate's full dress. I don't think her silver boots were noticeable in the episode, and you really had to freeze frame to notice the pink Statue of Liberty and flowers on her dress.
Shetty's purple dress also is pretty majestic. 😍

Jordan had the coolest power and was arguably the strongest supe so why did it take so long for them to be named Number 1.

Is it just me or did you guys find Emma to be equally (or even more) charismatic than Marie?

Season 1 is the only terrible season of the show but upon rethinking about it, I realized it setup the seeds which would grow into the crooked branches of the later seasons.
One of the cardinal sins was the weak finale and the introduction of Ryan. The character whose existence destroyed the show. In the comics he pops out of Becky's womb and Butcher crushes his head which is rad. The show unfortunately decided to make him and Becky alive and turn the comic's intelligent commentary on US capitalism into a CW level family drama soup opera. Like imagine this retelling of the show:
Season 1: A man rapes another man's wife Season 2: The wife dies and both men want the custody of the child Season 3: The father of the rapists joins the drama too but hates all parties Season 4: The rapist gets the custody and the other man gets sick. Season 5: Rapist gets rejected by both his father and son and the other man beats him in a fight.
Do you hear how lame and pathetic all these sound? Well these are what the show turned into. A story where a family turn their drama into everyone else's problem as if it's the Star wars franchise.
The problem is Eric pervert Kripke once again. He was the showrunner of Supernatural the poster boy of CW family drama shoehorned into a narrative and guess what? He did it again here and will probably do it again in his next project. I just cannot fathom why out of all the showrunners in the world, Amazon chose Eric Kripke to make the boys. WHY? JUST WHY?
Also unrelated but Hollywood has this problem too. Most of their big blockbusters are soap operas with daddy issues or other family dramas. Why are writers so fixated on these clishe tropes? Did the parents of these writers hate them or something? Well if my children wrote The boys season 5 or Rise of Skywalker, I would hate them too, fair.

When you really sit and think about all the messed up stuff they went through their first couple of weeks it’s actually insane.
Walking through ears, exploding 🍆, riding 🦐🍆, almost getting grapped, running from firery naked dude, like damn. It’s only gonna get worse from here, poor babies.
SN: I’m really looking forward to seeing more of their friendship!!

This actress deserves an emmy, I'm gonna START there.
I adore the way Shetty is written. A tried and true stone cold manipulative psychopath. Smoothly stepping into the role of Marie's mom to manipulate her but there is *always* that truly evil little light in her eye.
I know it's just a good actress but I would not drink with that woman. I would rather drink tea with Semiramis. As far as I know she's very publicly very sweet but no i'm sorry I would go armes at least.
10/10 actress and character writing, phenomenal casting and absolutely delicious part of the show that's all I came here to say.

There was a very quick promotional video of the university showing off their top grads and which ranking they were.
Queen Maeve: 1st
A-Train: 1st
(Cuts to The Deep): 6th 😭🤣🤣🤣
I keep saying. The deep carries his scenes so hard. I’d watch a spinoff

She is homelander manchurian candidate and he later openly supports her in s3 and s4 so she can pass pro supe laws, so why did the pro supe movement get mad at her when vought must have given them the memo for them to go on the down low?

This show failed because it is more of the same cliched bullshit. The "heroes" simping for the villains because, oh!, we have to be better than they are! Butcher is right, as usual. A bunch of cunts. I'll watch season 2 because it isn't going to cost me anything but time. But knowing it doesn't go beyond that isn't any flavor of surprise I have tasted.

Lizzy Broadway and Asa Germann are excellent actors; I didn't see it coming on my first watch. I am so looking forward to Gen V season 2 in two days.
P.S. Of course, the Gen V cast is excellent too. I just like this intense scene with their performance.

There's a user on Twitter who recently was able to study the season 1 scripts, revealing a lot of little details regarding Cate that didn't make it into the final cut. You can find the whole thread here.

Who else loves all the chaos in this episode.Even the Homelander came by and left with a bang not like soldier boy trash talking.Marie Moreau getting zapped was so so wrong like why the hell he didn't even have to do it.Sam fighting Andre was epic but Sam didn't have to say all that to Emma

Now you can hear the satisfying sound without other sounds blocking the way.
