Scrapper Saturdays Galactic Decoder supports iPhone Duo
Bright suns, everyone!
This week for Scrapper Slicer Saturday, I’ve got a quick update on Galactic Decoder
If you've picked up (or plan on picking up) once of those fancy folding datapads, Galactic Decoder has already been updated to support them. With this support, you can now scan Aurebesh on a much bigger screen - or smaller, depending on which screen you use. Live scanning, photo scanning, and the manual decoder all make use of the extra space you've now got.
If you’re still on a regular iPhone, nothing changes for you. The scanner and all your other features work exactly as before.
Haven’t tried it yet?
If you haven't seen it yet, Galactic Decoder is an iOS app that decodes Aurebesh using your camera or photos. Everything happens on your device, so it works 100% offline wherever your travels take you. It’s a one-time purchase, with no ads or subscriptions.
Not limited to what you'll find on Batuu, you'll find the app works pretty well just about anywhere.
As always, if you’ve got feedback, you can send it right from the app after a scan, or from the settings menu.
Thanks again for all the support!
Get Galactic Decoder in the Apple App Store here: https://apple.co/46X720i
p.s. If you’ve already downloaded the app, I’d really appreciate a rating or review in the App Store. It helps a lot. Thanks!

Galaxy's Edge visitors deciding whether to buy Galactic Decoder could use a demonstration of the offline claim: scan an Aurebesh sign in airplane mode, then decode a saved photo. For this update, show the same text on both screen sizes so the extra space has a visible purpose beyond device compatibility. We'd answer Reddit questions about reading Aurebesh during a Batuu visit, explaining when live scanning, photo scanning or the manual decoder fits.

I was using it at Halcy-Con last week. Worked great. Several people noticed and were impressed.
