Found this indie game on Steam that reminds me of Galaga but like with a modern twist. I've been really enjoying the free demo, even has a global leaderboard. It's nice to see some retro arcade feel in 2026!

So I play Galaga on Xbox quite a bit, never heard this in my life. It made me completely lose my groove and honestly scared the crap out of me. Any idea what it is? Lol. 😅😅😰

I was clustering in the 240k range, then had a bit of a breakthrough.

Set my new personal best in Galaxian! 69,520, played on a Galaga / Galaxian Pocket Player Pro.

Would like to hit 100k before 2027, and when I start getting close I’m gonna start recording my gameplay. I’ve got a recording setup now and an aux speaker for the game.

Arcade Galaga and NES Galaga, but miniature!

Warblade - By Edgar Vigdal is sort of Deluxe super Galaga for PC.

When you download Warblade, use something like VirusTotal to scan it for viruses, so that you get a clean copy. I've never found an infected version, but you never know.

Find the shortcut (or make a shortcut) to launch the game executable

MODIFY the shortcut "Compatibility" tab to use windows 7 compatibility mode, RUN IN 640/480, and DISABLE full screen optimizations.

I believe I've earned a break.

I just started learning the patterns, so the scores aren’t anything to write home about. I’ve always wanted to get a leaderboard sweep, so I took the opportunity and scored 20,000 points on five out of seven plays.

Not my highest ever, I have gotten 140k on the NES galaga, but that was years ago when I had it on my 3DS.

Been a while but I’m getting back into Galaga and Galaxian both. Just hit an 89k in Galaga, on my Micro Arcade Pro. Really taking me a while to get used to the miniature joystick lol
