Giveaway Weekly Code Giveaway Thread
Every month, we see several posts offering GOG game codes and discount codes that people do not intend to use themselves. To make this easier and more organized, we ask that you share your code(s) as top-level comments on this post.
Ex:
Game code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
Or
Discount code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
To be extra sure your code goes to a fellow GOG gamer and not a bot, list the game(s) you have keys for and ask Redditors to DM you to claim them. In this case, please make it very clear whether your codes are game codes or discount codes.
You're also welcome to use RedditRaffler or KeyShare.
Please follow these guidelines:
- Do leave a comment when you claim a code so others know it is no longer available.
- Don't post plain codes, as bots will most likely claim them for resale rather than fellow GOG gamers.
- Don't add a discussion in a top-level comment. Respond to an existing code or use the pinned moderator comment.

Case Cover Art About that physical gog media….
I was impressed when I found these posts about physical media gog boxes. Because Im a lazy engineer and dont have a clue beyond the basics of programming I decided to ask Chatgpt for a little help and let it design a program for macos to design the cover arts and texts with steamdb and other online sources. First results here… Print quality is shit I know 😅

Release GameSieve: Now with price history graphs, price matrix and other game details
In short, what's new on GameSieve:
- Game pages have been added, with detailed information about each game.
- Game pages contain a zoomable (pinch / ctrl-scroll) price history graph.
- WIP: The price history graph also shows price history for equivalent previous products, annotated with information about what changed (where applicable). (example: X4: Community of Planets Collector's Edition)
- Game pages contain a price matrix to show prices across all tracked countries and currencies at a glance (displayed previous lows depend on the current currency selection).
- For registered users: The game page offers another place where you can manage your hidelist / wishlist priorities / library status. On here, it works without JavaScript, finally giving non-JS users access to all available functionality again.
- The URL format for game pages is identical to that on GOG. Just change e.g. https://www.gog.com/en/game/dex to https://gamesieve.com/en/game/dex (the "/en/" e.a. language code can be left in; it will automatically be stripped, or if possible converted to the relevant country).
Wait, what was GameSieve again?
GameSieve is my independent GOG-only game discovery service, search engine and price tracker - basically a better way to explore GOG's catalog. It preferentially bubbles up new and improved deals, rather than the same old 95% discounts you see during each sale, and is highly customizable with personalized filtering defaults. For registered users, it adds a hidelist, wishlist priorities, and automatic correction for games which GOG doesn't recognize that you own (i.e. all those Amazon freebies which differ from the equivalent store products).
Okay, cool, so about that game page?
When I started GameSieve, I purposefully didn't try to duplicate functionality which already exists on GOGDB, wanting to be a complement rather than a competitor. Creating a useful filtering setup with multi-currency tracking was quite enough of a challenge in itself, and I believed (and still believe) that most of the time, you're just interested in knowing if a game on sale is at its all-time best or even improved in price. However, sometimes you're interested in a specific game which is not at its all-time low, and then you want to dig deeper into its price history to get a better feel for how the price evolved over time. Price history graphs are extremely useful for this, but I've felt that existing ones have been somewhat lacking, and rather ... clunky.
The other thing which I've been focusing on is data quality and enriching: Grouping games together with their expansions, editions and so on, classifying and correcting things at an additional level of detail (e.g. distinguishing between installable expansions and goodie packs). I have heuristics for this so that if the "basic" version of a game gets removed from the store, with another one added, relevant expansions/editions get automatically re-linked to that new version. And I realized that using this setup, I should be able to create a price history graph of not just the current version of a game, but also all previous versions for which I have pricing information.
Together with some other improvements in functionality (hoverable price "ranges" rather than price-change "points", plus giving the graph full-width space and making it easily zoomable), and filling in pricing information where GOGDB had gaps due to various historical bugs, this felt big enough to be worth implementing. And then of course when I had a page to display such a graph, it only made sense to put all other useful information about each game on there. Right now this doesn't really add too much above what GOG displays on their game pages - besides the price tracking, I think only the (corrected) release date on GOG, content ratings for other regions, plus consistent linking to related products? - but I'm already planning to extend this with various other types of information which I hadn't been collecting before, as I had nowhere to put it.
What's with the "WIP" for annotations?
I have written a lot of tooling for correcting and enriching game information, but during implementation, I discovered none of it is actually quite suitable for identifying and linking the correct previous products. Also, figuring out exactly what changed, and why, is a quite labor-intensive process. Everything else about the game page was ready to go, so I decided to just put the game pages live now, and continue working on the annotations over the coming weeks.
What is coming next?
Probably lots of small new additions which I'm not yet thinking of; keep an eye on the changelog over in r/gamesieve where I'll add them as they're released.
The big one, though: In the last two months, GOG added support for another 10 currencies, and more are undoubtedly coming. This means my current setup for collecting pricing information is no longer fit for purpose - my simplistic approach just takes too long for so many countries. I have been collecting pricing information for these new countries, so when I add them to the front-end, I'll have pricing history nearly from the start for each currency - but first I'm going to have to rewrite that entire part of the setup. I have some ideas on how to do this which feel hopeful, but it's probably going to take quite a while.

Discussion GOGInput Remapping Tool
Hello guys, I've designed a tool to create a goginput.ini preset for different controllers. This tool is not affiliated with GOG.com. This uses SDL2 so automatic mapping might occur, if not then it will instruct you to assign the keybinds.
Source code:
https://github.com/ProjectXsent/goginput-remapping-tool
Screenshot of the tool:

Games that uses goginput.ini/dixi.ini:
- Breath of Fire IV
- Dino Crisis 1 & 2
- Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
- Metal Gear Solid 1
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (GPP)
- Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 (Classic Trilogy)
- Silent Hill 4: The Room

Discussion Chances we get some of the big Bioware Games now?
For those who keep better track of what GOG does, since Bioware has been officially shut down by the cancer that is EA, does that make it much easier for GOG to get ahold of the Mass Effect games and Dragon Age past 1? Do we think there's a better shot of us seeing them now?
*EDIT* Okay, I guess I need to specify for some of the people in the back. I'm aware the IP hasn't been lost to the ether, but more does this make it more feasible that EA would be willing to toss them to GOG.

Support Unable to Purchase Games
Edit: Definitely my account. I was using the Google federated login and no matter where I logged in from I couldn't check out due to an empty cart. I just tried signing in using my Steam Account and it allowed me to check out without any issues.
Anyone else not able to purchase games? It's been happening for about a day now. When I add a game and go to checkout, my cart is empty no matter what. Edge, Brave, FF, Chrome, Mobile, GOG Client... doesn't matter. My cart will be empty.

Question Is GOG likely to support KRW?
GOG recently started supporting Yen, so I was wondering if GOG would support Won in the future. It is a bit painful paying in USD with the current conversion rates so it would be really really really nice if it did plan to support KRW but I don't know how likely it is.
Question What’s the requirement for "good old game"?
I previously thought it was old games not compatible with modern systems but apparently not? I saw "Ghostwire: Tokyo" from 2022, so I was wondering what the reasoning is or what even the purpose is doing it

Question Something's Up With Screamer, Won't Respond to Controller Inputs
Screamer, according to its page on GOG, has controller support, yet when I start the game it doesn't respond to the inputs from my ROG Ally. I don't think it's because it's a game that uses DOSBox because I play a few other DOSBox games with controller support and they work just fine. I try to bring up controller settings but every time I go it just goes to a blank screen and nothing happens. Is there some sort of trick to this that I don't know about? Please help.

In Dev Would you play our game on GOG? Mysterious shop sim set in early 2000s
Hi all!👋
I am trying to get our game into the gog store, at the moment they don’t reply.
I’m just genuinely interested if you would be interested to try it out on the platform.
Our game is a retro styled shop simulator and psychological horror set in early 2000s.

Galaxy 2.0 We desperately need a bulk uninstall feature
Steam allows you to select multiple games and initiate an uninstall, it’s great. It can be slow depending on the size and amount, but it’s much more effective than selecting individual games and selecting uninstall for each of them.
Whenever I try to uninstall more than one game on GOG it’s kind of a dice roll if it’ll actually do it. It doesn’t give me any indication if it’s actually doing it, sometimes I have to tell it to uninstall a game multiple times. I find List mode is a bit easier to work with, but I would love the ability to just select and uninstall a bunch of games at once instead of selecting each game and maybe it’ll uninstall.
Important to note: this isn’t an issue with uninstalling, these uninstalls aren’t failing, the Galaxy UI is failing to initiate the uninstalls, this is an issue with the UI

I'm reposting this here because if Sega removes Denuvo from their games, they might end up on GOG as well.

Hi guys, just came across this deal on fanatical.com.
It genuinely looks like a good deal and historical low. Checked on isthereanydeal.com Good thing is that you are getting DRM free copy of RE2 (1998) unlike steam.
Is this a steal deal or you get better value in bundles ? Should I go ahead and buy this ?? Please let me know fast.
