This Is The Way ✨ r/GME is dead

This place now feels full of melties. People are only attacking RC and GME with so much passion and posts/comments pro GME are downvoted into oblivion.

I don’t care if you don’t like to be called a s-h-I-l-l, but since you talk shit against RC and/or GME without backing your points, then guess what this makes you.

Go ahead and downvote me, because “hey it’s open discussion and people have the right to disagree with RC”, but where were all these people during the annual meeting vote?

RC has won. Get over it. Sell if you don’t like and move on with your life. Let us enjoy company’s successful turnaround and don’t mind if we make money or not. After all, if you are right, why so much effort to prove it?

You can hold GME and question, even critique, RC .

16

u/Orleanian Aug 08 '26

I was gonna say "where were they during the annual meeting vote?" Motherfucker we were here stating the reasons that we think the actions presented were dilution or skeptically beneficial to the company, and how we didn't like that.

Like...it's pretty fuckin straightforward, mate!

-42

u/dipster23 Aug 07 '26

Question, yes. You can find the answers in this sub and the other one. For every question you make it might be 20 answers daily, but those people don’t like to discuss the answers. They like to just question.

Critique, yes. It’s one thing to say your opinion and another one to try push a narrative.

35

u/jaykvam Aug 07 '26

I mean, that’s generally fair, but if you don’t think the pro-GME, pro-RC crowds have their own narratives, you being willfully myopic.

I was pushed here because as soon as i criticize RC in the other sub i get attacked like you just describe the situation on this sub. It is the other sub who chases all people away with their blind faith in RC.

You know that 30% of the people voted against dilution?

Just because "RC" won does not mean i have to sell because there was and might be a Gamestop without him as well.

You call the turnaround successful but he did not really improve the core business. He just diluted the stock multiple times until there was enough money (which is our money / stock value btw) that the company cannot go down in the next decades.

You people need to learn that RC does not mean GameStop and Gamestop does not mean RC.

u/Zeronz112 Aug 07 '26

37% of gme holders are institutional. I wouldn't say 30% of retail voted against it.

Also record operating income in q1 and revenue increasing yoy q1.

-1

u/Mannimarco_Rising Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

Q1 does not mean nothing. You always need to check the whole year performance.

We can look at 2026 after the year is done. Revenue of 2025 is super bad. Annual Net Income is good but when you look at the revenue then it is not caused by that. I would need to study the P&L / Balance Sheet to get a better insight but one of the reasons is the massive firing spree he did.

Fiscal Year Revenue Gross Profit Operating Income Net Income
2015 9,296 2,621 618 393
2016 9,364 2,762 654 403
2017 7,965 2,363 506 304
2018 8,547 2,363 449 230
2019 8,285 2,203 317 -818
2020 6,466 1,909 -400 -471
2021 5,090 1,259 -238 -215
2022 6,011 1,348 -368 -381
2023 5,927 1,372 -312 6.7
2024 3,823 1,114 -26 131
2025 3,630 1,196 232 418

You’re really arguing that the company isn’t profitable and all the reduced debt and cash on hand is solely from investors? They’re making profits on the core business now, stop making shit up

10

u/SkidmarkSteve Aug 07 '26

The core business is pokemon cards.

-5

u/dipster23 Aug 07 '26

The other guy said about this 30% as well. Boy you have the same points to make.

Anyway just to answer to your last point. NO, there would be no GameStop without him. He did the turnaround and put his money where his mouth was.

7

u/fcavetroll Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

Which is also wrong. He couldn't have done this without the loyal retail shareholders. It was retail who saved GME. And ever since that he has turned around the company but has also diluted and fucked over retail shareholders.

Edit: RC was already Chairman before becoming CEO. I still stand by the point that it was mainly retail who saved the company. Without us holding the stock and getting diluted multiple times, RC couldn't have done anything to save GME.

Cause it's not echo chamber created by hedge bots like r/superstonk?. Why are you telling people to sell are you hedge bot astroturfing.

-9

u/dipster23 Aug 07 '26

When I see “echo chamber” I know where are you coming from.

22

u/sometimenotsmellgood Aug 07 '26

Holy, enough with these whiney posts

24

u/ToastyTurtle123 Aug 07 '26

Post literally reads like “wahhh wahhh, if you don’t agree with me then leave.”

And people wonder how cults are formed lol

9

u/sometimenotsmellgood Aug 07 '26

These gme related subreddits have been unbearable the past year.

6

u/vagrantprodigy07 Aug 07 '26

Maybe the guys saying that shit are the ones that need to leave. They can't though, because they need constant positive affirmation in order to hold, because they have no actual conviction about their investment.

-3

u/MullerX Aug 07 '26

You don't agree with anything tho, so it isn't the same. You lack logic

-13

u/dipster23 Aug 07 '26

Holy, enough with these whiny comments in these whiny posts!

304

u/gkboy777 Aug 07 '26

It’s dead because it’s full of bots and paid shills that both promote and disparage the stock.

There are rarely any good posts in this subreddit that actually are well thought out.

68

u/WisdomAntium Aug 07 '26

And no mods

54

u/SweatyToothlessOgre Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

There's mods , I made this point also 2 weeks ago and the post was removed as it was gaining traction.

"So when did melties make this their new home, and why is it allowed?"

48

u/liquidsyphon Aug 08 '26

I think it’s weird there are still people with no investment still fixating on someone else’s investment

26

u/Jarrow375 Aug 08 '26

Reddit sucks in general

18

u/Ok-Effective7280 Aug 07 '26

Just think why they are here? Thats the best part. Them doing what they do, is the biggest sign we are going ok. 👍

9

u/WhiteKouki82 Aug 08 '26

Poor way of thinking, or astroturfing others to think that way.

Towel apes repeated that slogan up till their shares were deleted from their accounts, heck, three ears later, they're still saying it.

"People pointing and laughing at me means I'm right and about to be a millionaire" is the single most stupid line of thought.

Where else can you read about how the whole the whole world revolves around a strip-mall Funko Pop dealer?

You're telling me if you came across a large group of people who thought Spencer's Gifts was at the heart of a vast conspiracy and would soon make them billionaires, you wouldn't find it funny?

1

u/Ok-Effective7280 Aug 07 '26

No,no cultists, just people that are intelligent enough to realise RC is doing a great job & wants Whats best for the company.

You people criticising him just don’t understand or, just want to put shit on him.

7

u/iwasneverhere43 Aug 08 '26

Yes, he wants what's best for the company. The problem is that moass is not best for the company, but many of us here are only interested in that, so we don't like when RC does things that hurts the possibility of moass. RC knows that's why many of us invested, so it's why we shit on him when he works against us. It's not all bots and shills, many are just people who invested for a different reason than RC or those who like what he's doing.

1

u/Legitimate-Gear-8308 Aug 13 '26

He didn’t even do his homework on the ridiculous EBAY takeover. They have disappointed two quarters now . He shows up at a laughable CNBC interview… makes an ass of himself . From a Wall Street point of view the fundamentals are completely deteriorating in their actual business… future is Zero like Blockbuster … so right now everyone should solely watch the Book Value which is about $14/shr . The only real way this increases is by Bitcoin rallying in the future. Good luck to all holders …. Hope it works out for you !!

-1

u/TotalBeginnerLol Aug 08 '26

Plus everyone who’s legit knows that there’s another much better sub for GME chat.

Rc objectively brought gme back from the dead.

It was bleeding cash every year and was poised to go bankrupt.

He did that through cost cuts and by opportunistically selling shares to both the gme fan base and institutions.

This is a fact.

Now unfortunately gme is currently a still a struggling retailer and trying to innovate out if that takes a lot of persistence and luck because you would basically need to start a new business.

u/vagrantprodigy07 Aug 07 '26

What has he won? Sure, he controls the company, and the balance sheet looks better. But his other moves have hurt the stock price, rather than helped it. The constant dilution is keeping the shorts alive.

As shareholders, we should be critical of leadership. We should expect to see a return on investment. 5 years in, we haven't seen that.

45

u/makybo91 Aug 08 '26

The Balance sheet only Looks Like this because its got our Cash in it.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '26

3

u/vagrantprodigy07 Aug 08 '26

You don't think corporate actions and their timing affects the stock price? Were you around last week? The previous runups killed my dilution?

We can argue about whether those dilutions were good or bad, but attempting to say that the CEO and President of the board can't impact the stock price is completely assinine.

Lots of cheap talk, no money for whisky

63

u/WhiteKouki82 Aug 07 '26

Okay these posts are stupid, and only meant to reinforce the echo chamber.

You really think accounts like OP's can tell people MOASS Soon™ every day for over half a decade, with dozens of not hundreds of made up flavor of the week hedgie dooming catalysts "and if you disagree you're a hedgie!", that have always failed in that same 5.5 years while the stock slowly falls -53% as the broad market rips to new all time highs nearly every week......

....That after a while, people are going to stop believing the made up catalysts, the daily MOASS Soon™, Something is brewing™, This Is The Endgame part 741™, wake up, and realize they got taken for a ride and lost all their money? I mean come on man, it's been FIVE AND A HALF YEARS of the same recycled slogans, buzzwords, and catchphrasess with literally ZERO delivery on anything.

These subs are like a bum roommate who's late on rent who's been saying "I got you next week bro" for months, but in the case of these subs, it's been over half a decade of "MOASS is next week, and here's why" with a wall of AI slop no one reads.

43

u/Geddy34 Aug 07 '26

Seriously. I got friends and family to invest in this and it's embarrassing. It felt like a real genuine grass roots movement at the start now it's just dick riding RC and cheering our stock going lower and lower

-6

u/MullerX Aug 07 '26

Hahe...poolium infinitum

11

u/MyNi_Redux Aug 08 '26

RC and GME

That "and" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

Things will make a lot more sense when you realize just because we're on the ride together for now doesn't mean he's one of us.

Let us

No one is stopping you.

You, on the other hand, can stop telling people what they can or cannot say about their investment.

55

u/Radiant_Currency_518 Aug 07 '26

“Without backing your points”

Brother look at the last 6 years. RC shut a bunch of stores, cut cost and now GME is “profitable”. Cool. What else. What about ALL the other conspiracies, the “we’ve already wons” the DD, u/atobitt, u/Criand, u/Peruvian_Bull, u/Einfachman, the YouTube personalities who have come over the years, The set of children’s books I own full of secret codes, Roaring Kitty, the goal post shifts, the constant denial, the towel…. I’m sure others could add to this list.

What more do you want. If anything does ever happen it won’t be part of any plan and will probably be a whimper, not a bang.

u/iwasneverhere43 Aug 07 '26

A little over 30% of investors voted against the share increase, so I think it's safe to say that at least 1/3 of us aren't here for the future of the company or RCs vision, just chasing moass. I think the posts reflect that.

58

u/Guido01 Aug 07 '26

If you were in since the beginning, you should know it was always about MOASS. All that shit that came after was and is a distraction.

Another CEO.  Doing CEo stuff.  Not surprised. They only are in it for themselves. After CEo burned Kitty live on his YouTube stream I knew it was over. Shitdadel probably paid him ( rc CEO ) off and took down the short squeeze with massive dilution basically on live stream, shame, shame.  And RC is just trying to save face. He took too big of a project that he couldn't pull off.  I mean look at virgin galactic, and Richard branson. Same shet. Different stock.  Mediocre product was made out of SPCE, and he saved face by using the money to save his other airline and used the rest to buy an island. Lol.  At least Elon and Tim apple makes us some dam money lol. And that's what we're here for is to make some dam money .
