Classic mode only.

As much as I love the chaos that happens from the 99 player modes, sometimes I just want to relax and play the classic mode and I really think Nintendo should add a classic only mode. I think it would also be a bit easier to newcomers as well to get the basic feel of f-zero, and to not be indulged in the chaos of racing 98 others lol. What do you all think about this ?

5 classic mini prix, whereby one has to use each machine once, with the 5th being a mulligen to replace the worst result.

Easier on casuals? The chaos of 99 mode is to a casual's benefit. Classic is a much more consistent game. To the detriment of casuals. You fall behind in Classic and that is usually it. 

Skyway is literally there so players in the back are encouraged to leep tryijg and finish the race.

Basically you want a permanent Classic Mode, well I guess the closest thing would be to utilize Private Lobbies to your heart’s content.

I agree, but I also think players who want the classic single player experience can easily play OG F-Zero with NSO
