Frat Stuff Oldest pledge ever?
My friends and I were debating how old the oldest pledge of all time would have been. Anybody pledge somebody way too old?

I can't remember how old he was. 2+ decades in the army. Liked our philanthropy events and approached us. Solid dude. Wasn't a creep. Took care of the drunks/bbq at tailgates. Didn't show up to parties. Just did fundraisers and community service. Always paid dues.

Initiated a 77 year old this homecoming. He’s been our neighbor and good friend for years and years and he finally said yes to picking up

Pledged with a 24 year old exchange student from Germany, and we have a 30 year old airforce vet graduating this year. I like to ask him if he remembers 9/11

German frat alumni here: was the German in a German fraternity before? We have a little different way of fraternity structures here

We had a 36 year old cross, but the oldest I’ve ever heard of was 64. Crossed undergrad even.

Like the oldest pledge actually attending college? We had a guy who served in the military and came back to Indiana and pledged at 32, he was a cool dude but also a mad man and did not make the adjustment well, ended up crashing out after trying to be a tough guy.
In a more honorary form we initiated a 70 year old who had worked for our IHQ for many years on the fundraising side yet never was a brother.

We had a guy in my pledge class that was 30 and was doing a masters degree. It was a little odd having a fully grown bald man in your pledge class
