Fishing?

My 3 year old wants to go fishing. I just need to go to a spot where we can catch something in about 10 minutes. Any fish will do. Where is that?

The Anne Springs Greenway has some ponds you can fish at. Don’t forget to grab a license first just to be safe

Not much fishing action at the greenway. Never got a bite.

Fish hatchery. He'l catch 3-4 fish within 15 minutes. There's one in AndrewsNc and Bryson City and one near Asheville. Not sure about close to Charlotte. Google it.

Check out a pond on Fairway drive in Fort Mill. Near the side of Fort Mill Country Club. I take my kids there. We’ve caught a few. They sell worms at the little gas station up the street on Doby’s Bridge Rd. Enjoy! Great memories ahead.

There's a pond in the Ballantyne Backyard where you could have luck. Near the corner of Upper Ave and North Community House. Very easily accessible and even has a little dock.

Greenway is food despite what’s said above. Caught a fair share of catfish out of Hagler. Fairway drive also good. Otherwise head to Lake Wylie.
