Our teachers have endorsed the following candidates because they have NO interest in playing politics with our students.

District 1:
Faiza Maqsood

District 2:
Cyrus Keck

District 3:
Michelle Fullhart

District 4:
Stephanie Braden

We need former students and young people without kids to show up and vote for these candidates. The students in this district deserve to have the focus on them and off political games.

David Turk, Josh Perry, and Greg Wright have all been linked to Fishers One, who has had control of the board for the past 4 years. Our students and our community cannot afford 4 more years of power-hungry MAGA leadership in any office.

I’m looking for recommendations for places that do nail trims for cats. I’ve gone to a VCA near me but for how much they charge, not happy with the results. Thanks!

Hey all! We’re thinking about joining the newly remodeled Life Time in Fishers and I’m curious about the childcare! We have a little one who’s around 4 months old, and we probably wouldn’t start taking her until closer to 6 months, but that still feels SO young (first-time mom, can you tell? 😂).

For anyone who uses the Kids Academy at the Fishers location, how has your experience been? Do you feel comfortable leaving your little ones there? I’d love to hear all the thoughts, good or bad, especially from anyone who has used the infant care! 😊

Hey, Fishers. I’m also going to post this in r/Indianapolis since I live on the border of Indy and Fishers.

Where is the best place to buy a used car? Facebook marketplace is my go-to for most used items but when it comes to vehicles, it is full of junk. Where else should I be looking? Budget is around $8k

Hello!

I’m looking to see if anyone would be interested In personal grocery shopping and delivery in the Fishers/Noblesville area. I’m a stay-at-home dad currently attending school online, which gives me some flexibility during the week. I already do a lot of grocery shopping for my family, so I thought this might be a chance to help a few neighbors while earning some extra income.

I'd offer personalized grocery shopping and delivery from local stores (Kroger, Meijer, Fresh Thyme, BJ’s, Costco, etc.).

Unlike larger grocery delivery services, you'd be working directly with the same person each week. I'd get to know your shopping preferences, communicate with you about substitutions, and make sure you're getting exactly what you need. I worked in foodservice management and operations for 18 years, so I’m detail-oriented and understand how important personal preferences are for fresh items like produce, poultry, and meat.

I'm hoping to start with just 2-3 regular customers, ideally with weekly or biweekly shopping needs. There would be a straightforward shopping and delivery fee, and groceries would be charged at their actual purchase price. I’d also be open to assisting with other errands etc.

Right now, I'm mainly trying to gauge interest and figure out what kind of service would be most helpful.

If this sounds like something you or someone you know might be interested in, feel free to comment or send me a private message! Thanks!

Looking for someone experienced in these sort of cases and not a general attorney. I’m located north of the Indy metro.

hey everyone! does anyone have any advice on where else i can promote my bed frame for sale in the indianapolis, fishers, lawrence, or surrounding areas? 🥹 i’ve tried facebook marketplace but haven’t had any luck, and i really need it gone by november 1st! i’m open to suggestions on other apps, groups, or places where i might find a buyer. any advice is appreciated!

For people who pay attention to the HSE School Board and its actions, the title is old news. However, for those who don't pay attention to local politics, but who are going to vote in the coming weeks please keep in mind that Dr Juanita Albright has been on the HSE PUBLIC School Board for years and during that time has worked to undermine our public school system. If you ever watch or attend a school board meeting, you already know that Ms Albright rarely speaks with any substance.

Interestingly, while on a PUBLIC school board, Albright has taken $10,000 worth of political donations from Hoosiers for Quality Education through September 2026. This group is on record calling public school teachers “anti-public education”. The group spends millions on campaign contributions to benefit candidates who support the privatization of public education! Maybe this is the reason why public school enrollment continues to decline? If you support public education and are against privatization of public assets, then DO NOT vote for Dr Juanita.

I need some work done on my wife’s car and Don Hinds Ford has the cheapest price for parts and labor we have found so far. Does anyone have any experience with them? Good or bad would help a ton. Thanks!

More importantly - when will it be over? This rush hour traffic is a nightmare 😅

Coming from a WI community where I can go out to a a park and play pickleball with a bunch of people on a daily basis through the Playtime Scheduler App. Whereeeeee are all the sessions available?

I want my uncle to try it out but I didn’t see any options to really give him??

Do people not use the app? And why? It’s free

I am looking for a plumbing job for my apprenticeship. I want more experience and hours, which I’m not feeling like I’m doing.

Did you know our state is home to 12 amazing native bat species? Every single one of them plays a vital role in keeping our environment balanced, acting as natural pest controllers that protect both our agricultural crops and forest canopies.

With so many incredible bat species hard at work across our state, people often ask: Why choose the Indiana bat specifically?

While we love and appreciate all our native wildlife, the Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis) is uniquely special as it was discovered right here in our own backyard at Wyandotte Cave in southern Indiana. It is also the only animal in the world that carries “Indiana” in its name. Making it the perfect candidate for State Mammal!

It’s time to celebrate a true local native and Hoosier Hero that puts our state on the map in the best way possible.

With time counting down toward the 2027 legislative session, we need all hands on deck to spread the word! Help us share the petition link with family, friends, and local groups so we can build massive statewide support!

I'm stuck in a rut with my grocery shopping. Basically it's become a chore. Is that new Meijer grocery that opened on the east side of town full of new and exciting things? Or are the choices the same as everywhere else? I've been meaning to drive over there, but just keep forgetting. My understanding is that this is only the second groceries-only Meijer that opened in the state of Indiana (the first one being on Little Chicago that opened a couple of summers ago.)

Was the budget cut this year? I didn’t go last year but it really seemed scaled back from all the previous times I’d gone.

this helicopter has been circling for hours. anyone know what’s going on? i assume something with the hazel dell/flooding area?

When I learned to drive we would go to a county fairgrounds/4H property near my house that had a big property with lots of different roads, little traffic and it was great. Any ideas for something similar around here, ideally the southeast side of town? I know Noblesville has the fairgrounds but thats a haul for us

Hello, I’m looking at different in home daycare options for full time for an infant. Does anyone have any experience with A Big Happy Family daycare? Or any others that they’ve had positive experiences with?
