I do a lot of fishing around where I live and I’m usually pretty familiar with the skeletal structure of the fish around my area, but today I found a random stringer stuck in a tree with this neat fish skull stuck to it. I cannot decide on whether if it’s a trout skull a pre-spawn salmon skull or a walleye skull where I live walleye makes the most sense but the nose just doesn’t look pointy enough to be a walleye.

Before my FIL died I noticed his fish was just sitting at the top of the tank.. this was in August.
I’ve had them now and the fish just doesn’t seem to be getting better.
I think it’s bladder disease? Maybe some fin rot.
Recently swapped it over to this tank (1 month ago)
I have done 3-4 days of no food then given it a pea- but it won’t eat the pea.
I don’t have a ton of room available so I had to work with what I have- it’s in a 20 gal split tank.. roomie is the other betta fish I was left.
I have like 5 years of having a big tank running ive helped a couple of fish recover but usually it doesn’t seem to end well for me when they look like this and I want to do my best to keep it alive :(
My sons love looking for grandpas fish.
Water temp is 80-82

I have a strong suspicion that the "A" one is a male and the "B" one might be a female. A Google search didn't really yield anything concrete for me. Also sorry if this breaks rules on this subreddit, by all means please delete if that is the case.

Hey, so I say many of these fishes on my recent scuba dive in Maldives. Does anyone know what fish this is ? They were really cute with the fins pushed towards the back.

I apologise for the bad quality video, I had my mother record this for me as I’m currently not there. I recently received a few Pygmy Corydoaras only hy post but I realised there is probably another fish in the packet that cane along with them. I can’t identify it, it kooks somewhat similar to them but has a slight green tint and is slimmer and longer. I have a shrimp colony in my aquarium and am suffering from a bacterial bloom right now so the cloudy water. Can someone please ID the species for me so I can take care of it properly?
