Venting Been here for 6 mos TTC..
My husband and i have been trying to have a baby for the past 7 months (6 cycles due to infection impacting one of them) and we have never received a true positive test (had one false positive on a blue dye test) and we were taking prenatal, vitamins, eating healthy, and all the fun stuff. We’re 28 years old and i cant help but feel old…
We just finished our sixth cycle and I’m now on my period. We decided to move forward with purchasing a house, and as a result, we’ve decided to put the TTC journey on hold for a few months to get more money saved up.
Im so heartbroken that we have to wait, but there’s genuinely no way we could have a baby before we move into this new place which is planned for Dec 2027.
Everyone keeps telling me “oh maybe this is why you couldn’t get pregnant because you had other things waiting for you” because there’s no way we would’ve moved forward with this purchase if j WAS pregnant.. but, knowing that its taken me six tries to get negative after negative after negative, I’m worried that its going to take even longer once we decided to start up again. And i know a few months isnt so long, but it also just breaks my heart even more to think that my 2027 baby is now looking like a 2028 baby. 🤧

Same age and same cycle here (well 9 DPO so still some hope for cycle 6 but we’ll see) - I feel you!
I’d find waiting hard too but I’m sure it’ll be worth it when you’re in your lovely new home. I think it sucks when you’ve only had negatives because you don’t have any evidence that everything’s okay even though statistically it’s likely to be fine. Fingers crossed it doesn’t take too long when you can start trying again 🤞🏻
