Made some posts similar to this a couple years ago, but I didn’t finish the game and my pictures were a lot worse (I was using RF connections out of necessity, and I was worse at taking pictures of my screen), so I’m documenting my newest playthrough with a new round of CRT screen collages. It’s insane how great this game looks

I came across this account in tiktok of an individual creating a mod for FFIX that makes the combat similar to Expedition 33's (ie parry, timex hits and dodge mechanics). I thought the idea was nifty, but one look at the profile picture told me it was AI and with all the "vibe coding" going on nowadays gave me a sneaking suspicion that this mod was using AI as well.

I'll attach several screenshots of a very small back and worth I had with the guy. He basically all but confirms he uses AI by saying people who use AI are super creative and intelligent. I ask him to keep the thread open so people can decide whether or not to support him based on AI use and he literally tells me he's not going to.. And I'm now blocked.

So now I'm posting the discussion in hopes you guys won't go out of your way to support this person who I think knows what he's doing is wrong because otherwise he'd have not blocked me lol. Also I'm petty. 😈

Edit: I'm no longer blocked. And he followed me on TikTok. Curious what the catalyst for that was. /s
