Hello I (19 female) has been working in a certain fast food chain for about 2 months and it’s awful. within two weeks of working there, I had a G.I. infection from someone not washing their hands after using the bathroom. I don’t know if it was a customer or Staff. I had an ER note stating I couldn’t go back to work until I was two days symptom-free because I couldn’t handle food. I went to pick up my paycheck and they tried to fire me and then not long after that I had an incident where I was supposed to go home to take my shot for diabetes because my blood sugar was skyrocketing. My manager was supposed to talk to me at 9 AM when he came in. He showed up around 11 AM. Didn’t talk to me until almost 2 PM when my shift ended at five and said that I couldn’t leave to go home to take it. He said he needed all hands on board and then he left over an hour early when we were supposed to work the same shift time 9 to 5 and then basically two days ago I had to call off work because my grandmother had surgery and couldn’t be home alone and I didn’t learn until last minute and I had to call off to stay home with her. I got written up and I can be fired for it when I return. I’m honestly very depressed working here. I hear from coworkers that they talk about me behind my back. when I got hired on, they knew about my health issues. I was very upfront and honest about it. it states in the write up that my grandmother couldn’t be home alone because of surgery and this is my first write up, but they’ve already tried firing me once over the G.I. infection if I leave, should I no call no-show or should I call them?

Started recently at a Taco Casa as a cook where I was apparently the only one really following safety guidelines. As the title says I couldn’t eat for two days after seeing numerous things but most significantly I saw one of the guys on the line go to the bathroom with his gloves on and come back to the line with those same gloves on. I hope and pray he washed them at least but it still stuck with me in a VERY uneasy way.

Ok so this clearly looks like bullshit to me and I make shakes and blizzards for my job so I know what a shake is supposed to be like and the worker refused to give me a refund though before this I was being ignored at the drive-through and kept having the window slammed on me and no one wanted to make eye contact but the outcome of my shake ruined my night bc I can’t even drink it or am I just crazy

Is it bad

Driving up the east coast in April, I was tired and wanted food for the night so I can go to my hotel. Well, the taco bell in this town was disgusting and the employees were in the back laughing it up, as I waited for gross food. The cheese in the burrito was sour, I kid you not. It was not fresh, and did not taste good. That taco bell should be shut down, and employees need to learn how to be stand up people. The whole operation was ghetto. Worst taco bell ever, I'm trying to remember what town it was in, it was in a small town in Virginia along 81 north.
