Importing a new EV?

Hey,

I’ve been looking at the dealerships here and the EV inventory is fairly small. Has anyone ever gone through the process of buying a new vehicle from mainland European and importing it? Are there dealerships or import companies you can recommend? Also are there any things to be prepared for. I’m guessing there is probably an expensive import fee for any vehicle.

I just want the cheapest/tiniest/4 person EV a person can buy. I am considering new because I want at least a few years of not dealing with major repairs.

Pretty heavy registration fee when the vehicle arrives but I know a lot of people who have imported so I’m guessing it’s still cheaper than buying a new one at a local dealership. Try contacting https://www.bilkeyp.fo/bil-innflutning.html

Thanks. I’ll look into them. Yeah. The dealership prices just seem way off even accounting for import taxes. I just want something to get around and not take out a 300,000DKK loan.
