Celebration π Hegseth said no trans troops at Quantico. Quantico's Marines voted to keep them.

I will be posting helpful, important links as I, and anyone else, comes across them. Starting with the links in a couple of previous posts.
Feel free to post useful links in individual posts!
I or one of the other Mods will see them and add them to this post. To make sure that this post is only for useful links and not for discussions, this list will be pinned as well as locked to everyone else that is not a Mod.
If you know of any pro-transgender organizations in your country, feel free to send them to our Mod Mail.
Thank you all for your understanding, and more importantly, for your help. πππ
We will all get through this, both here in the United States and everywhere else! ππ³οΈββ§οΈβοΈβπ»βπΌβπ½βπΎβπΏπ³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ

Because of all the anti-transgender rhetoric that is currently harassing the transgender community (especially here in the United States,) it has been decided by the Mods that surveys are not allowed at this time. The rules have been updated to reflect this. Hopefully, things will change in the near future.
(I personally feel that surveys can help to show the world important information about being a trans man, and that the more that is known about us medically, emotionally, physically and whatnot, the less there is to fear. I am probably in the minority when it comes to thinking this way.)
Thank you for understanding, and for wanting to keep this community safe.
Also, feel free to discuss this if y'all want to. I'd love to hear other men's' opinions.

Did you feel it did more than you expected considering you started older?
Iβm 30+ but I thought to post here because why not and there doesnβt seem to be any FTM over 40 sub active here. I hope a miracle happens and I get to transition before my 30s are over.
You guys feel free to share your experiences however way you want. Iβve seen some FTMs over 30 comment that T made them grow taller which is awesome.
Most transition info/pictures are of those in their 20s. So Iβm interested to learn how things went for you if you started older (mid 30s to 50s feel free to contribute).

Iβve been doing a lot of thinking lately about why I transitioned and what my relationship with masculinity actually looks like, and I wanted to see if anyone else here relates to this.
For me, transitioning came from a genuine love of masculinity and an intrinsic connection to men. But it often feels really difficult to talk about that honestly. A lot of trans men come up through spaces (like butch lesbian spaces) where masculinity gets heavily reframed through specific ideological lensesβsometimes treated almost as something to excuse, or stripped of its connection to actual manhood.
It often feels like you're forced into a defensive position just for saying, "I actually just love being a man, and I want a positive, constructive place to express positive masculinity."
On top of that, there's this weird intermediary phase where you might not fully pass yet, making it awkward around other masculine spaces or people, but at the same time, a lot of guys who do pass end up moving on and no longer wanting to talk about being trans at all. It can feel pretty isolating trying to find a community where you can just be straightforward about loving manhood without having to apologize for it or filter it through an external framework.
Has anyone else here navigated these feelings? How did you find your footing and build that internal confidence when the loudest voices in the room don't seem to match your experience?

Hi all, Iβm not quite 50, Iβm 47, but it seemed more appropriate to post here than in the over 30 sub. I have been on T for about 24 years, with some breaks due to lack of access to care, but mostly on.
Back in the day, the doses I was prescribed were much higher than what I have been on for the last few years. I consistently took .5mg/wk for about 20 years. Then I moved to a new state for work 4 years ago, and apparently doctors are more conservative here and I was prescribed .25mg/wk then convinced them to go up to .35 and then the last few months Iβve been at .4. My period came back shortly after being put on this lower dose, and after 3 months at .4mg/wk itβs still going strong. My cycle is every 21/22 days, which is much shorter than it ever has been.
Iβve developed an iron deficiency which has been more debilitating than I would have ever imagined, and after 7 months of not being listened to, Iβve found a group of doctors who believe that I am actually having symptoms.
Iβm concerned that my period has shown no signs of stopping or getting lighter with this new dose. I have a friend who is about my age and has been on T for about as long, and he is finding that his period just wonβt go away no matter how high the dose. And of course, there is nothing in the medical literature about any of this.
So Iβm looking for your experiences, if youβve ever found something that worked, if this sounds like your experience or doesnβt sound like it at all. Thanks.

Where can I find rule 10? My post regarding tying neckties was locked per rule 10 but I canβt find it.

This is a very funny, yet well-made video explaining why "trans ideology" is bullshit.
Enjoy! π

Hey. On T 17 weeks and have had some effects. Also noticed a little belly hair today. I really wanted a necktie. I watched three different you tube how to tie a tie videos and made seven attempts. This was my last try for the day. Itβs not easy becoming a man LOL

Back in the day, trans men were vilified.
We are once again vilified, but at least we know we are not alone.
I give this young man props for not only creating a site for Black trans men, but it looks like there is so many useful things on it that *any* trans person can use it.
