Yesterday, Elizabeth won as the Lancer with the best debuffer kit. Today, vote for the Rider with the best ST kit.

Gameplay Who is your candidate as the best non limited SR servant? With the exception of Omi-san ofc since she is cheating with her SSR Support kit in SR vessel.

Constantly raising my servants to 9/9/9 and then can't go further because I have to be stingy with my current Lores. Bah.

I'm just griping after raising Okuni this far but knowing I can't justify spending them.

Using Quirinus with lvl 120, NP6 3, skills and 5 append maxed, Lancer class score maxed, Black grail lvl 100.

Even if it's "a perfect set-up" that might not be as efficient in CQ, the result amazes me.

Post image

I think were gonna beat the Norns by gething other gods of fate help like the Moirai to beat the Norns if we cant beat fate let use fate to beat fate

I could be false and we beat them in a other way but to me it would make the most logical sense and would feel the least plot armor like

Story-Spoilers Tunguska Sanctuary Thoughts

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

Another chapter down and... Honestly this one's the most disappointing honestly. I don't even really have much to say. But I've documented every step of the way so far so I may as well keep going. But this post probably won't have my usual energy because again, I don't have much to say. The presentation is still great and the gameplay's the same. So that just leaves the characters and story of the Anti-Primate Biosphere: Tunguska Sanctuary.

STORY

After the damage she took against Cernunnos in the British Lostbelt, Koyanskaya has retreated a special zone that popped up in Russia, specifically Tunguska Forest. Chaldea planned to go in on a full-on raid but upon entering the special zone, the Servants began disappearing left and right and the Storm Border had to pull out. Now it's up to Mash, Ritsuka and the Shadow Border crew to finish the job alone.

Even the basic set-up isn't anything special by FGO standards. We're basically just back to where we were in the first two Lostbelts, with only communication with the Shadow border and whatever servants we can find. Now for the big thing. This arc is short, like REALLY short. That leads to my most hated thing in the world. Pacing problems.

If any of you saw my Tsukishima posts on my old account, I absolutely railed Akiha and Kohaku's route for this. Pacing is a very big deal for me. Go too slow and it kills my interest, go too fast and it doesn't give me time to take everything in. I kid you not, the entire story is that initial setup, meeting our cast, exploring the special zone and then going directly to Koyanskaya. That's it. There's stuff with Taigong Wang and Koyanskaya's backstories but that's it.

Even Koyanskaya's defeat, something I had been itching for from the moment she hurt Fou, wasn't very satisfying. She gets hit with a slap on the wrist and will be going to space after we save humanity. Yes, it makes sense that Koyanskaya would commit suicide to take us out if we didn't but there's a difference between what makes sense and what's satisfying as someone consuming the media

CHARACTERS

Now I did mention that we lost the Servants we brought with us but that's not entirely true. We did have one servant survive and find two more. I'll try and squeeze what I can out of them

Taigong Wang: Probably the only one of the three Servants with anything worth talking about... He's basically Chinese Merlin. He mostly serves to give exposition and life-saving asspulls. Even Fou catches onto this and attacks him. That being said, he does have some connection to Koyanskaya as he believes she is Daji, basically the Chinese equivalent to Tamamo-no-Mae from what I gathered, a fox spirit that destroyed the Shang Dynasty. It's through him that we learn that she's not and also is the one to beat Elon Musk in creating the first space colony. Other than that, we don't get a whole lot of time with him

Dobrynya Nikitich and Ibuki-Douji: They're literally just extra muscle. I wish I could say more but that's all, and that's really a shame because I like both of their personalities but you can remove both of them and nothing changes. Nikitich has this thing going where apparently she's the one who gave Koyanskaya her name but it's revealed very late in this very short story and doesn't go anywhere

Koyanskaya: And here's the main star of the show. Gotta admit, if there's anything this arc does right, it's Koyanskaya. Since the Sanctuary is her Reality Marble, we get to see a glimpse into her mindset which is great because you could never tell how honest she was being in the other Lostbelts. That being said her backstory is... Just sorta meh. Basically she was born from the screams and lamentations of the animals that died in the Tunguska Incident. Some mistook the event for gunfire causing her hatred of humans. Don't get me wrong she's not wrong about humans but the way she reached her conclusions is just so dumb. I think I would've rather she just been one of the Tamamo Nine. I know they have this weird rule about being allowed one Tamamo per entry but FGO Part 2 is already so different from Part 1 you can say that it's a different entry

Overall the characters have great personalities but the story is so rushed that nothing's really done with them.

CONCLUSION

Well, I think I find it. I've found an arc worse than Lostbelt 2. Hell I might even say worse than Singularity 2. Because for all that filler, at least there WAS a story and characters had time to show off. Tunguska Sanctuary is just "Beat Koyanskaya". That's it. It's barely even a story. It's an objective and doesn't leave room for anything else

Hopefully I can be more optimistic with the next post. Sorry this took so long. Thermal paste in my laptop needed replacing. Next one might take a while too but wish me luck because your boy might finally have a chance at becoming a Game Designer in a few days. If I do, it'll be full-time work so I'll need a bit to figure out how to work FGO into my new schedule. But rest assured, whether it takes a few weeks or a whole month, I'll see you again for Lostbelt 6.5: Traum

Game Question Rematch mode?

I’ve been playing the game for a while and I think it’s a bit sad that we can’t rematch bosses or even normal encounters in stories or events even though recollection quests have been out for a while. Does anyone else think rematches would be fun?

How does one use FGA?

I see that when you open the command button when you make a config looks a lot like the in-game layout. Can anyone tell me how to utilize this? I need it for offscreen farming, especially since Christmas lotto is coming soon.

How does it work?

Game Question Anyone here who actively plays Hakuno in their teams? (NA discussion.)

If yes, what role does your Hakuno play for your team?

From how they played in OC3, they have this skill that allows you to reload your hand with a fresh set of face cards, and at max level, this gains a 0-turn cooldown, meankng it could be repeatedly used to hopefully fish out a good hand (typically a chain of face cards from the main DPS). However, since it is still RNG, Hakuno could run out of NP gauge AND still end up with a brick hand. Thus, compared with the infamous Ciel/Summer BB combo (which locks you into a hand full of Ciel cards for 3 straight turns), Hakuno's mulligan skill feels a lot less reliable.

Game Question Team building recommendations?

I’ve returned to FGO after a bit of just jumping in and out of the last couple of banners and being an extremely casual player. I wanted to know how team building could work with my limited 5star roster! If there’s any cites, or combos you’d recommend lemme know!
(I have a crap ton of 4stars and craft essences so if some of my 5stars would work better with one, lemme know too!)

JP-Content A decent bit late for this but Top 10 Strongest Chaldea Staff Members Spoiler

Obviously who is stronger doesn't equal who wins in a fight, basic Nasuverse rules

Everyone here is at their peak obviously which means this is U-Olga Marie and Alive Solomon. You could see a case for Kadoc being here depending on how argue about his Sirius Lights which has enough raw power to destroy a singularity.

If I included the everyone who has been a Chaldea staff member then Daybit, Kirschtaria and Kiara would obviously be here Daybit would be at 5 or 6 Kirschtaria and Kiara would be at 7.

Olga-Marie > Ritsuka > Mash Kyrielight > Nemo > Daybit Sem Void > Solomon > Lev/Pseude > Kirschtaria > Kiara > Azrael

Also some might wonder Nemo is at 4 because here I am counting the Storm Border which is an extension of Nemo's Spirit Origin.

Even with the Storm border Ritsuka and Mash have superior feats to it as absurd as that might sounds. Main one being that they defeated Grand Caster Lev-Goetia (who a few hours after this would block a stellar class attack, albeit through hax but still) and Lord Logres who from Lev's statement about her being the strongest existence should pretty cut and dry be above Alive Solomon who scales above AAS Goetia.

For honestly the most debatable part of this list Ritsuka and Mash's who is stronger is an interesting discussion to have but for now I would put Ritsuka above due to as of right now having more impressive feats 1vs1 feats

should nasu make any new story in the nasuverse a light novels after tsukihime red garden?

I don't know if this was discussed here before but after mahouyo was announced to be adapted into light novels shouldn't be better for nasu to make any new stories in light novels format instead of visual novels since tsukihime took a really long time to release I am really grateful for the novel but I am worried if we would have to rely on FGO for new nasuverse content instead of stand alone stories that take place outside the fate timelines.
