I'm new to the game. What benefit is there to getting more than 6 copies of a servant? I thought that was the requirement to max out a servant and the append skills?

It is the requirement if you want to max your servant (although i don't really know how exactly did the devs "fix" the coin system after the 9th anniversary fiasco), but other than that there really are no benefits in getting THAT many copies (the only one i can think of is that you can get a "free" SSR from the Special summon option if you have 15 copies of one particular servant), i just love Alice that much as a character, so i went all in on her pulls

Edit: nvrm, forget everything i said about min requirement, but don't forget my love for Alice

Pulling more than NP6 has never been the minimum requirement to Grail a servant to 120 and unlock all their appends, not now on EN and not after 9th anniversary adds the additional appends. Pulling more than that just decreases the bond level that you need to do that.

They fixed it by letting bond levels give an extra 240 coins iirc so the amount of copies you need (assuming you bond 15 the servant) don't change.

There's no specific benefit. They just start giving the Spirit Registers so you don't get completely burned on getting an already taken care of servant. If you want to run through leveling again you can, or you can burn for prisms

it took me almost 2 years, i wanted to start saving the moment collab was announced, but decided to pull summer Skadi first (so it's about a year and 10 months of savings), and if i convert my tickets and SQ fragments into quartz then i had around 5k of SQ before i started rolling, so yeah, completely F2P

Goddamn. Throughout my 11 years of playing now, I've only ever been graced with 3 of these. 2 on NA from Attila, 1 on JP for chasing NP5 Draco/Tiamat.
