Hey guys, I am looking for a way to do all the side quests again without fully rerunning the main story. Side quests allow me to travel around the map and just relax, so I really love running them. But unfortunately, I’ve completed almost all of them, except tricky ones like Rainbow Frog. Yes I know I can use ‘Chapter select’ function to start over with current level and equipment, so that I can rerun all the side quests… but in this way I will have to run the main story again, and I am not willing to do it. In conclusion, what I want to do is “Refresh all the side quests without refreshing the main quests, while keeping my current level and equipment”.
Notes: Pls forgive my weird language, I’m not a native EN speaker haha. I’m on PS5, so mods aren’t considered.

Final Fantasy XV is definitely one of my favorite games in the mainline series, and as an extension Prompto is probably in my top 3 favorite characters from this entry. I found his character journey as very inspiring to me personally, and related to his struggles through the anime and game. His cheerful personality is also a good contrast to the more serious tones of the rest of the party, and he had some of the best scenes! His DLC is also one of my favorites, and I believe that, despite there being mixed opinions regarding this games character writing, Prompto was one of the stronger characters narrative wise.

The 1st cutscene of the game , where Noctis talked to his father . His father viewed him as a pampered son while he found his father annoying and just want to get out of the city and never want to come back ? why is that . Isnt he a prince living with a silver spoon in the royal kingdom ?

The brand is called Roen, and they actually had the clothes made irl, then scanned into the game engine. This is why the physics (like folding and wrinkling of the fabric) are very realistic. Just thought this would be cool to share.

recently discovered pitioss and oh boy, its such a challenge, can't do it like everyone did 9 years ago with the warp/save bug so i have to go through it like a big man. and SUFFER. just for genji gloves and black hood. i reached the flying cube level last night and quit but gonna try again rn. so salty thet patched it with the line/cutscene... is anyone else struggling with that rn? i love ffxv so many things to do even after acing the game, its wonderful, still playing it after 2 years of finishing it. but ye pitioss is rll for us xv nerds, no average person would burn their mind of this...

I think the Genji gloves in the navel of the Eos statue at the Pitioss Ruins symbolize the division of the Ardyn and Somnus relationship and the division of Niflheim and Lucis. Also I recently found out, A Genji is a Japanese term of someone stripped of Royal Status which I think symbolizes Ardyn. It also means two beginnings. I also think the black hood belonged to Ifrit bc if Gentiana could be an incarnation while her Goddess form was in slumber, Why couldn’t Ifrit. Another observation I’ve noticed is that Omega and Gilgamesh both can travel dimensions, have a connection to previous FF games and have a link to the Gloves. (Not sure if this is the right flair, but I hope it is.)

Hello everyone would just like to ask why my Final Fantasty XV doesn't install for some reason it always shows up as error can't install every FFXV I bought is always like this even though the disc is clean and has no scratches

ETA: I got this from a store that imports things from Japan. One section of the store has tons of replica weapons from games and movies. I even bought the Invictus sword from FFXVI from there.

Now if I can find Sword of The Father, I'll be a happy boy.

I was exploring the Keycatrich Trench, chapter 1 or 2. Just started playing btw

I know a lot of us still want Versus XIII because it felt like it was going to be a superior game, and I am one of those people, but these days I find myself wanting it not just for myself and the fans, but for Nomura as well.

I mean, Nomura designed Noctis back in 2004, originally thinking he would be the lead for Final Fantasy XIII, but when he found out the game would have a female protagonist, he repurposed the design for Versus XIII because he loved it so much, and lets face it, who can blame him lol. He spent the next 10 years trying to bring his version of Noctis to life, just for the project to eventually be taken away from him due to Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake having higher priorty at Square and needing him for those projects. And this wasn't just some character he'd just doodled uo and worked on for a little while either, hes referred to Noctis as his son, comparing him with Sora, do you can imagine how much the character must mean to him.

And what really sucks is that he didn't just lose the chance to make the game he wanted. He had to watch the world and story he'd spent years creating get changed into aomething different. Don't get me wrong, I love FFXV. It's one of my favorite games, ive played it pretty much once a year, sometimes more, since its release, i spent time to get the platinum trophy, even had fun in the Comrades MMO while it was active. Its just hard not to wonder how much of Nomura's original vision was lost along the way.

I think that's what makes the whole situation so unfortunate. This was a character and a world he'd spent nearly a decade trying to bring to life, and he never really got the chance to finish what he started. I just think there's something sad about an artist spending that much time building something they're passionate about, only to have someone else take it in what seems an almost completely different direction.

And then you have Yozora in Kingdom Hearts III. I don't think Nomura is trying to recreate Versus XIII or bring Noctis back under a different name, but I do wonder if Yozora is his way of expressing how he feels about what happened with Versus XIII. Considering how much time he spent trying to bring that character and his world to life, I can't imagine having to walk away from it all was easy. I cant help but wonder if Yozora and Verum Rex isnt a retelling of Versus 13, but Nomura expressing his emotions regarding how Square handled Versus 13.

I just think it's a shame that we'll probably never get to see what grand adventure Nomura originally planned for Noctis and the chocobros. Not because FFXV is a bad game, but because I would've liked to see him get the chance to finish telling his own story, and with talks of retirement its hard to believe we will ever get that chance.

I recently started playing the game, and overall, I really like it. I don't really have any complaints yet about anything other than the combat, but I feel like my complaints about the combat have something to do with me doing something wrong rather than the game itself, so I would appreciate any input people have that can tell me if I am insane or not. And for the record, I am playing on PC.

I am level 34ish and I'm in chapter 3. I have been doing all the sidequests and hunts and everything that I come across, including the dungeons. I just spent almost 3 hours in the Costlemark Tower. I know the things in there are a higher level than me, but I was under the impression that levels do not make that much of a difference. Please correct me if that is not accurate.

During my time in that dungeon, I was getting extremely frustrated because I am holding down Square/X/dodge and Noctis is just not dodging things. I don't understand what is making me get hit, because it's not like I am trying to perfect blink in this scenario I'm talking about, I am just fully holding down the button. I have full MP, so it's not a question of not being able to phase-dodge or whatever it's called that uses like 2 MP per dodge, the enemies are hardly ever being staggered or knocked down or stunned in any way despite using a greatsword and warp-strikes, I am getting interrupted constantly out of my weapon swings, I am getting fully stun-locked and boxed in corners by enemies, I simply do not understand what I am doing wrong.

When I'm fighting one (normal-sized) enemy at a time, everything is fine. I can dodge, I can parry, I can play the game in the manner that I am trying to play it, but in large groups of enemies, I am just being knocked down and killed constantly with what feels like no counterplay.

Is this my fault? Do I just need to get better? Or are these common complaints about this game?

i just downloaded the game on my ps5 and it runs horribly even on lite. there’s input delay, low graphics and it runs at like 20 fps. is there a fix?

New player here ,how do you know wich materials do you need to upgrade weapons?
