Mod Post New Post Flair! "Requesting Glam ID"

Conversations and concerns have come up recently regarding glam identification requests, and I think I finally came up with a solution that I would like to test out for a bit.

A new post flair has been introduced: "Requesting Glam ID" this flair will automatically trigger automod to spoiler tag the post. It will also ask the poster where they saw the image, and to ask the OP to provide a source link if possible. This will make it easier for us to see if the original post source has the gear list already offered. (In these instances, the OP will be directed to the gear list and the request will be ~~deleted~~ locked ~~after 24hr~~ immediately.)

This will be different than just the general "Question" tag, which will just be for general questions or "I want to look like so and so, can someone help" questions. The question flair will not be spoilered.

I think the new flair tag will stay no matter what, but the auto spoiler is the experiment. Feel free to come back to this post and let me know what you think of the changes or if you think adjustments can be made. Thanks for your patience and support ♥

(To test it, I'm adding the flair to this post. It will also give me a chance to test the automod response. I can remove it afterwards.) *Edit: It worked!

Mod Post Reddit Doesn't Like ANY Shortened URL's Now

I made a post about this 3 months ago in regards to shortened google URL's, but I've noticed other shortened URL's are getting posts/comments deleted now as well. It seems the big one in this subreddit is X's shortened URL. Reddit doesn't have a formal list that they have public, but here are the ones I have noticed:

My attempt to recreate Lina Inverse from The Slayers. I had a difficult time trying to create this glam with what is available in FFXIV. I'm also bummed I'm not able to properly add in her signature yellow without making the glam look "off".

Question Help/Request: Lina Inverse from The Slayers

I've been nostalgic for 90s anime and have been rewatching The Slayers. I would absolutely love a glam similar to Lina Inverse, specifically from The Slayers (1995 TV). But I know this will be difficult because of the lack of capes in FFXIV. Would love to be a Black Mage and calling out DRAGON SLAVE during Flares.

Salutations!

Taking a somewhat more traditional route I wanted to give an Archeo Healing top a shot. it’s overall a very nice piece of gear with good dyeability, but restrictive silhouette. I was quite surprised that you can’t interact with the sleeves at all.

The biggest puzzle here was the headgear and after some trial and error I picked this not so often used tricorne.

Question I would like some help setting up an outfit.

my partner and I are doing a duo-cosplay. Me Mina and them Silver for Halloween. I'm having trouble setting up my glam though. Particularly what is a good fit for Mina's dress. Right now i'm looking at maybe Voidmoon coat of healing/casting but I feel like there has to be a better piece to use. any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Saw the auto mod ask for info on what i have
I have every job and crafter/gatherer at 100. i'm fully caught up on MSQ. As in the above picture i'm playing a Female Au Ra. And cash shop is okay to recommend, as i do have a decent bit of stuff from there already.

Cosplay Glam Alucard Cosplay. (Mch / Drk)

Needed / wanted to have something somewhat fitting for halloween, so Alucard was the best I could come up with. Especially cause everything demon-like "requires" wings and I dont have access to those. (yet)
But Im satisfied, happy and lowkey proud with the result! :3

It's mainly made for Machinist, but given the character: As DRK I recommend Wolf Zweihander, as SGE I recommend Imperial Magitek Wings, I guess Monk with The Emperor's New Fists works too.

Glamour Outfit Help Finding Similar Glamour

I really like the top half of this chest gear (Sarcenet Chestwrap of Scouting) but I wish there wasn't the skirt part attached to it.

Does anyone know of any tops that's similar to this one without the skirt? I was looking at the Paglth'an Chestwrap of Casting/Healing but I wondered if there were any other options

Adequate Lighting/Visibility Required - Adequate lighting/visibility is required for all posts. This doesn't mean each Screenshot in your album needs to be vibrantly glowing, but at least one image should be well lit. You should also have at least 1 photo displaying 80% or more of your glamour set (head to toe). Adding your Lodestone profile image is a good way to easily meet this requirement.
Be Nice to Each Other - Avoid rude, derogatory, diminishing, abusive, or demeaning language. Hate speech or slurs are also not allowed. Criticism is fine if kept constructive and encouraging. Upvote things that you like, and don't put others down over differences in fashion tastes. In other words, just be nice to each other!
Avoid Duplicate Posts of the Same Glamour - Duplicate glamours may happen from time to time between different users, but duplicate posts of the same glamour from the same user should be avoided. Please simply add a link to your post (or to the comments) with additional pictures of your glamour if you would like to share additional images of the same glamour. Imgur is a great resource for creating image links to share on reddit, but other links are also acceptable (as long as they are not to social media sites).
Modded Content is Now Strongly Discouraged - For your safety, we are strongly discouraging any content that has modded content. We do not endorse, nor censor such content, so post pictures with mods at your own risk. We will not be held liable for any punishments that SQEnix will enact on you should your character/account be found with these mods. When modded gear, hair, or character enhancements are clearly visible in your post, a disclaimer may pinned in the comments of your post.
