On F1 TV, I toggle over to the International audio track since I fi nd the coverage vastly better.

The standard feed feels tailored for the Netflix crowd. The International crew assumes you already know how the car works, so they spend their time breaking down actual race strategy, telemetry curves, and setup changes.

Anyone else strictly use the International feed for this reason, or is there a reason to stick with the default F1 Live stream?

Just came across it today and it's awesome! It's called apexview and utilizes F1TV multiview.

F1TV app really does not take advantage of the full screen and this app ensures nothing goes to waste.

I had Claude review it and nothing malicious in the code.

I apologize in advance if this has been answered elsewhere. But when I use F1 TV app on an Amazon fire stick, the alternate Channel broadcasts are not available for audio. But if I use Apple TV they are. Is this a thing now? I'm in Canada. Thx

I watched the weekend with Atmos on my home theater system (5.2 + 4 ceiling speakers) and it's noticeable and sounds great but you need to really crank the volume and focus.

I use an Amazon 4k fire stick and had zero issues - it just fired up and worked perfectly. I adjusted the levels up on the surround and ceiling speakers and turned the center channel WAY down to maximize the track ambiance.

By far, the best demonstration of the tech was during qualifying when they would pull a car into the pits and start working on the car. You got the sound of the wheel guns and good ambient noise. That was really crisp and gave a good sense of space. There was one moment with the Ferraris between runs in Q2 that was awesome.

The race itself was least meaningful. Onboards were basically unchanged. For any quick transition, you didn't have enough time to figure out what you were hearing. Every once in a while you'd get a long shot with a good variety of sounds...or a passing car that was very impressive.

My dream for this would be a "sunrise earth" style show during practice sessions of cars on track and people milling about (a bit like the shots they show on the F1TV Sky feed when Sky is otherwise in commercial). I just want to relax in a scene and listen to things happening.

I liked it and will try it again in the future, but I prefer the sky broadcasting stream + generally fewer ads on F1TV.

F1 android app has been broken for 2 years. Most notifications from F1 app (~90%) open an empty wrapper with "Notification message" string instead an actual app at the article mentioned in the notification.

Another issue developed on https://f1tv.formula1.com/ like a week ago. Using `Sign in` button on the top right corner of the page opens this (image). I have to go to https://www.formula1.com/ and sign in there to be able to use F1TV.

I tried looking the code up but found results only for different codes, anymore uncountered this one before?

I was thinking of getting a sub to f1tv ( through apple tv because Im in the US) and was wondering if I would be able to watch past races from this season or even past seasons? If not, any suggestions on what i can do to achieve this?

I feel like I'm getting scammed at this point.

We used to get a ''yellow flag'' announcement and after that a ''sector 1'' or something like that.

Nowadays we just get a big ''Yellow flag'' banner atop of the timingscreens.. And we have to guess what it is or where it is.. What is the reason we don't get a sector or even a turn where that yellow flag is?

I don't see any reason why they won't show it and I don't think it is that hard to implement again.

I screen captured f1tv on both Apple TV and Roku on my gc573 capture card which support 4k HDR and I noticed it looking at the scope of Davinci Resolve that on Apple TV, it caps to 203nits maximum peak brightness, which is SDR on a HDR container. That's why it'll look dim in most tv sets whereas on Roku, HDR is working fine reaching 1000nits peak brightness in scenes that requires that level of brightness.

I hope F1tv will fix this bug soon. Kinda frusting after paying over 200 us dollars on a Apple TV 4K 3rd gen box in Brazil. Due to our taxes and huge margin profit, those kinda of imported good are reeeally expensive 😐

F1TV really needs to fix this auto-play nonsense. Just finished watching the pre-race show and I get an 8 second countdown before it automatically starts Post-Race. I haven't even watched the race yet....OBVIOUSLY! Now I'm scrambling for the remote to avoid spoilers. Who thought this was a good idea?

OMG the cameraman just focused on a huge bird flying above the track during the national anthem…apparently someone informed the director it was a turkey buzzard, not an eagle! Lololololol

After a few races without it has returned again this race. Just a second the image freezes but sound continues.
Not happy this year for sure and still paying a premium price for it.

When I try to login, it redirects me to a blank page and then again back to login. Changed password and incognito nothing till now helped. Anyone any solutions or same issue?

I use the Android app and cast it to my Chromecast. It's my impression that lag/buffering is significantly worse lately. Every minute or two the stream will pause and buffer for a second or two. Nothing has changed with my home network.

Last season was flawless in this aspect but this season and especially the last few races have been terrible.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I wanted to avoid repeating the manual update routine every few weeks: downloading an APKM, transferring it to the TV, and finding a split installer.

Has anyone noticed that they stopped showing points and stats at the end of broadcasts? I’ve been really frustrated because I’m not able to see the finishing order, times, or points comparison anymore.

Whenever I try to log into F1 TV I get one of two outcomes:

1. After pressing the "Sing In" button I see the login page for a split second and then get redirected to a blank page with "NoSuchKeyThe specified key does not exist.davinci/id/1.0.2/pl/login.html27DF7YC69P84MH4Phufx/lZZo2F9qHSWhZg1TddOv6ZdnEyU4DMpWzuLGac7SjWe210coggOEoGw0Un/tN2AAJqdDC5CFR3pujg8S0odcl7K38oV" written on top in plain text
2. Sometimes I get to the login page, but after typing in my email and password the page refreshes and empties out the email and password boxes. No matter how many times I try to sign in the outcome is the same - the page just refreshes endlessly.

What is the problem here? I tried searching the "NoSuchKey" issue but all I get is programming advice :c
