Appreciated. I actually ended up ordering 2 off another Amazon listing. They are the shitty knockoff ones, but honestly I like it better that way.
Now that I see this was something an artist created intentionally (instead of being a case of r/engrish) it's lost a bit of the magic for me. Plus now I feel bad for buying cheap shit from China instead of supporting this artist.
Edit: I cancelled my order on Amazon, but now that the magic has significantly waned, I probably still won't buy the one off Etsy, either.
If it makes you feel any better, that Etsy seller is just reselling the mass-produced one you can buy for a dollar off of Aliexpress or Wish. Resellers have taken over Etsy.
Edit: I stand corrected! If you're wanting this patch, make sure you're getting it from the original artist. These things get stolen so often it's hard to find the real artists.
Not to be a debbie downer, but I highly discourage people from buying things (particularly patches, pins, stickers, posters, ect) on alieexpress and wish.
Several of my designs have been stolen and sold on alieexpress and wish without my permission (I know specifically that one shop on alieexpress has sold over 100 pins of my artwork). Pretty much all of the best selling pins and patches are stolen from small artists (many of which I know personally).
It's so hard to make a living in a creative field, please consider purchasing directly from the artists shop, and if you don't know who the original artist is - reverse google searches are usually a great start! :)
Super save pack set patch of Iron on Space Patches, Cool Patches 6, I Want To Believe Movie X- Files Patch , I want to leave UFO Patch, Astronaut Patch, Trust No One Patch Embroidered Iron On / Sew On NASA Patches...
The "I want to leave" one is clearly pictured and different from the one OP received. Though if OP looked at the customer images in the reviews then they would have known there was a chance of getting the wrong ones.
You are an idiot. Do you even know how Amazon referal link looks Iike. Just because OP has "ref" in his Amazon link, doesn't mean that it's a referal link. "ref" in Amazon link usually denotes Amazon's internal tracking reference of how OP landed on the product's page. Like via Google search or via searching on Amazon. Com search box or via email link or via "Related to this product" link or from wish list, etc.
Itâs not a referral link, and even if it was, wouldnât he deserve those referral points in this situation? Itâs not like it hurts the person who clicks on it and he is literally the person referring everybody in this thread
