am i the only one who loved ben moody’s gothic and nu-metal influence on fallen? the band kinda lost that after moody left. i think his departure was crucial and good for the band, but as someone who was driven to evanescence because of the dark and gothic-leaning elements that he brought, i do miss his influence every now and then. this doesn’t mean that i miss him as a person cuz i absolutely do NOT. even though he left, i still love evanescence’s newer music but it just doesn’t hit as hard as fallen. this is just my personal experience :) can anyone relate?

Amy Lee was careful to mention that due to the 20th anniversary of The Open Door, they wanted to perform one that they’d never performed live before - Like You. So if that surprises anyone, that’s the reason!

I got to see Evanescence during their Europe tour, and it was absolutely amazing. As a young fan (compared to the overall age haha), this was my first concert and again, it was incredible, Amy and the whole band were phenomenal. But there's something super weird and I was wondering if I was the only one. I feel like I didn't enjoy the concert enough, and even after almost a month + seeing some videos I took (just a few because I really wanted to be in the moment), I barely remember it. I feel like I just had a fever dream. Anyone else feels this way ? Is there a possible explanation ?

Anyway, love Evanescence, love Sanctuary and all the other albums. Hope they continue like that and make fire music again

She was the only artist that walked to this end of the stage 🤘🏼 standing for hours for that one moment was worth it
