Masterpost Masterpost Geek & Gorgeous Zero Feel Sunscreen

Hello,

I noticed some concerns about the amount of posts regarding the new SPF by Geek & Gorgeous in the community.

As a compromise I ask you to please only comment in this masterpost about the sunscreen and not to create new posts from now on. Thank you. :)

Review Really good affordable barrier serum!

I'm currently on my third bottle. I've been really enjoying this a lot!

It has a milky consistency, applies watery and sinks in fast and I definitely feel a difference while using this. It acts great as a first step before moisturiser and I found it really helps soothe and calm down my skin when using retinoids, AZA and exfoliating acids.

I have acne prone, combo and sensitive skin. Personally, my skin really likes almond oil but if you're sensitive/break out from it keep in mind it's second in the ingredient list. I also often breakout from stearyl alcohol but in this formulation and it being lower in the ingredient list, I haven't experienced any pore clogging.

I think the ordinary barrier serum does pack a heavier punch but overall, for this price, I think it's great!

Question No wash/rinse cleanser recommendation

Hi everyone,

Posting from Ireland 🇮🇪 my friend is going into hospital for a major surgery and I am putting together a little care pack for her. She loves her skincare and I was wondering if there are any good cleansers that don't need to be washed off. Sort of like micellar water, but she doesn't use micellar water because it leaves a film on her skin and it doesn't feel clean. She has oily skin. I know it is a hard question because most good cleansers you have to wash off but she won't be able to for a while and I would like her to have something so she can still do a little of her routine. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Edit: I just want to thank everyone for helping me out I really appreciate it 💕

Product Question 1 month using Acnatac, and my skin has never been so bad

One month ago my derm prescribed me Acnatag gel 10 mg/g + 0,25 mg/g to use at night every other day alongside with some other cosmetic products, so this is the only medicine I’m currently using.

Well the results have yet to be seen, and actually my skin has gotten much worse! First pic is my right side of the face 1 month ago, 2nd is now. The left side of my face is a bit better but still got worse than last month.

I should mention that I shave my face every other day and this probably isn’t good for my already damaged skin barrier but I don’t like beard so yeah that’s the only path for me.

I just wanted to know if this is normal in any way. Thank you so much.

Product Question Does L’Oréal Elvital Öl Magique hair mask normally come without an inner seal? (Bought at Rossmann, Germany)

Post image

Hi everyone! I just bought this L’Oréal Paris Elvital Öl Magique hair mask from Rossmann in Germany. When I unscrewed the lid, there was no inner foil, plastic seal, or protective disc, so the product was exposed immediately.

Is this normal packaging for this exact product, or could it have been opened or tampered with before I bought it?

Sun Care Best sunscreens for UVA protection?

I’m looking for a sunscreen that preferably doesn’t leave a noticeable white cast and not super greasy/oily, doesn’t rub off stains as much (not a requirement but if it doesn’t that’s a bonus), has very good UVA protection, and also preferably some blue light protection?

I’ve been using coppertone sport sunscreen spf 70 on my body (arms, neck, hands, etc.) and neutrogena daily age defense face sunscreen spf 60 on my face. I like the Neutrogena sunscreen a lot, it’s not super greasy and doesn’t leave a white cast. It doesn’t sting my eyes too bad either. The only problem is that it pills a lot, especially when reapplying. The coppertone one however rubs off white stuff EVERYWHERE. My car has so many white stains 💔

And also these are USA sunscreens, which I know are not the best when it comes to UVA protection, and I’d prefer to have a sunscreen that divulges actual UVA protection levels while having a high protection.

I’m currently looking at La Roche Posay because i’ve heard good things about UVA protection, but I hear the cast or yellow stains can be a pain and it’s.:.quite expensive at least to me. The Anthelios mineral sunscreen seems interesting to me though, I’m looking at maybe getting that one because of the iron oxide for blue light but I’m not sure how UVA protection fares compared to their other sunscreens and opposing brands?

📢 PSA Kilian Angles Share dupe

They are as simmilar as it gets,, especially for this price range. I would say this one from Rossmann, at least for me, is a bit stronger and out there, while Kilian is more toned down. Would love to hear your opinions. Sorry if it was already discussed.

Question Sunscreens!!

Hi, I'm looking for a non-comedogenic and acne safe sunscreen (spf 50+). I have a combination skin heavily prone to clogged pores. No niacinamide or exfoliants and some simple formula that wouldn't feel sticky either. Any reccomendations?

Sun Care Is the pediatric version of LRP UVMune just as strong as the regular kind?

American wanting to order some UVMune here. I see that the pediatric lotion & spray (not the kids face one but the larger bottles) is a lot cheaper per ml as compared to the regular face ones. I don’t care about how it looks under makeup as I currently use an extremely greasy, heavy sunscreen and just tame it with powder, but I’m wondering if the protection is just as good? I’m not finding much online to suggest it isn’t besides a handful of posts about the PPD potentially being a bit lower. Any input would be appreciated!

Discussion Non-comedogenic lip balm?

Hi! I wonder if there is such a thing as non-comedogenic lip balm? I have acne prone skin and clogged pores (also) around my lips and it dawned on me that maybe a different lip balm might help me with the lips. I need something heavy duty for winter and also for a chronic lip biter.

Hello guys, I am going to dye my hairs for first time. And I want it to color it in burgundy cherry cola-ish shade (the one that is pretty much everywhere). My concern is that I have naturally black hairs so will the color come out on my hairs. I asked Gemini it suggested me Garnier Intense Red. But I wanted to know your guys’ reviews and opinions and any recommendations on it. Or your best recommendations for the color I’ve been looking for. I’m attaching some photos for reference below. Pls help me out.

Discussion Looking for moisturizer recommendations for sensitive skin

Hi guys! As in the title, I'm looking for moisturizer recommendations. I have dry, sensitive skin, prone to breakouts - fighting acne a couple years back left me with a pretty weak barrier. Stuff like Nivea and most moisturizers clogs up my pores.

Currently I use:

Makeup removal: Isana mild cleansing oil + Ziaja micellar water for sensitive skin

In the morning: Isana pure cleansing foam, Beauty of joseon spf 50

In the evening: Isana mild cleansing cream, cosrx advanced snail all in one cream

I'm looking to replace the cosrx snail cream, I feel I need something more moisturizing, especially as it gets colder. Any recommendations?
