ETH Zurich researchers developed a system that lets the robot decide where to place its hands, feet, elbows, knees, and pelvis instead of following a fixed movement sequence. The G1 demonstrated ladder climbing, crawling, vaulting, and fall recovery in the real world, while its reported 92.5% success rate came from simulated obstacle courses.
