And oh my word is it almost like playing Elden Ring for the first time. I piced the Mystic class to start with as it looked the coolest. And I recently defeated Margit.

I just love the changes that have been made to the world. Even though the patch that I started on apparently had a glitched torrent.

First, i installed this game and tried it alone, i kept losing to the first ever boss Margit, so i geniuely gave up after.

Me and my ex started knowing eachother, 2 months after that try, he proposed me to play a run with him, and geniuely i fell inlove with elden ring after. The thing is, we broke up after 6 months, we didn't have any contact by then, so i started another run by myself.

When i played it, i had different settings than i used to (EMU LIGHT), but also going forward it seems I have played with certain mods without a mention, like runes (instead of the fragments) across the edges of the map, extra bosses, 1000 larval tears, that church to obtain every kind of equipments and summons, the fortunes, character customization.. I feel betrayed because i always thought if i was missing something or something was wrong till i read or found out on the internet these whereabouts.

I'm glad that nonless 150 hours on that game we we're still in caelid and in solo i reached it there from 20 hours alone, but i was so disappointed because it was like, almost easy mode with those settings, my friends were looking confused everytime I told them these few details, that aren't in fact, not in the normal game..

I started playing Elden Ring about two months ago. It is my introduction to the franchise. I even bought a controller specifically for the game because everyone kept recommending one. But as a longtime Kbm, I just couldn’t get used to it.

Unfortunately, the default keyboard controls are terrible, too. What bothered me most was the inherent delay when rolling, which made dodging feel incredibly sluggish on keyboard buttons.

Then I discovered the Emu Light mod. No more frustrating roll delay. I can now cast spells instantly using the number keys (1–9), heal with my mouse buttons, and manage everything without constantly cycling through items or spells. I can finally make full use of all my fingers, and the controls feel so much faster and more intuitive.

Once I got comfortable with my new keyboard setup using Emu Light, I decided to challenge Margit at level 7 as the Indus Knight. And to my surprise, the fight was an absolute cakewalk. I beat him without taking a single hit, despite being only level 7.
I genuinely can’t believe how much this one mod improves the PC experience. It fixes virtually everything I disliked about the controls and makes casting spells, accessing pouch items, healing, and switching between actions incredibly fast and seamless.
For anyone who prefers keyboard and mouse over a controller, I can’t recommend Emu Light enough.

I have checked the online-fix web and download the latest version, but the newest one on the web is 2.0.1. Am I too early for the update or there is something I am not aware. I still able to play it yesterday

Wondering about the overall feeling on this in a couple ways.

Overall I think it's pretty well agreed upon that using AI to make mods, then posting it as if you made it using your own skills like the rest of our actually talented modders is pretty shitty. It's similar to AI art imo, lower quality, devalues talented people.

I'm wondering how you feel about those who post them openly admitting they are AI-made. Is this just as bad since it increases the amount of AI content? Or is this less of a problem since they're admitting to it which obviously strips them of any status or recognition other than their ideas.

And what about those who use it only for personal mods, is this still a problem?

Lastly if do think any of these or all are problems, how do you think we individually and as a community could fight those issues?

1. Mod compatibility: What kinds of mods can be used with Seamless Co-op? For example, can I use custom movesets, gameplay overhauls, animations, and other mods?

2. Multiplayer compatibility: Does my friend need to have the exact same mods installed for them to work properly? For example, if I'm using a custom moveset, will my friend be able to see it, or do they need to install it too?

3. Installation and launching: What's the correct way to run mods alongside Seamless Co-op? Do I need to modify any configuration files or edit something in "launchmod_eldenring.bat"? Or can I simply launch Seamless Co-op normally, just like I usually do?

Recently played Dark Arisen 2 as a Sorcerer primarily and I think that game basically does spell selection perfectly.

Is there a mod that allows similar control?

Essentially it uses a skill modifier key. So L1.

So for example I'm holding L1 and Triangle is a different spell, Circle is a different spell etc etc for a total of 6 spell hotkeys.

So, I'm currently playing Elden Vins, and I'm having a blast so far. But I've arrived at Malenia today, and I've been hitting a wall for like an hour and a half. Yes, I can understand the desire to make her stronger, but at some point the 'make her strong' starts to feel like 'let's make her broken because why the fuck not'.

So, almost every move she has is waterfowl now. That includes the bullshit 30-second combo she does when powered up, where you have to parry what feels like 30 attacks a second and getting hit a single time puts you in the blender with a mandatory finisher at the end.

Then you have the Goddess of Rot version, where they had the bright idea to make her first Scarlet Aeonia last forever while dealing chip damage and rot. Then they give her a bullshit clone attack that comes from everywhere at once and does almost my entire health bar (50 vigor, which I think is nuts) and makes her so aggressive that you basically have no time to heal if you need to. She also had an even stronger waterfowl dance that has a small AOE that (once again) lasts for what feels like an eternity.

So yeah, someone needs to tell me who actually ENJOYS fighting her. I am already predicting that people will say 'Mehehehe, JuSt GiT gUd!!11!1!1!', and I know people can kill her. I'm just failing to see the appeal in all those mechanics at once in a boss, cause that's not the type of challenge that makes you want to actually work for hours to finally kill her.

So if you have any tips (and I mean ACTUAL tips, not just telling me to master the parry window please), please share.

I picked the dreadnought class and my starting weapon is the leaden maul, but for some reason the animation for its weapon art does nothing when i use it, not even registering as a hit. Tried it on a boss, npc ect. I cant find anyone else with this problem so what is going on? I use me3 and have stuff set up properly.
