Blasphemy
Made a few interior changes today that are purely comforts for me. I'm sure the community will be divided, many might call out blasphemy but I'm satisfied with the update.
Joying head unit 8.9"
I had this installed in the radio slot but I just moved it to the cubby spot above the ashtray. Head unit is hiding behind the blank plate and the display is powered by an extended ribbon cable.
Got a new 3d printed cupholder off of ebay. Needed to be dremeled a tiny bit to fit but it worked out fine. Shorelinedesigns on ebay.
Got one of those shitty armrest things that sit between the seat and the tunnel and modified it to sit in the new cupholder so it's secure and can be quickly removed. Has a little cubby, it's own cupholder, and a USB hub.
The armrest is cheaper than a husco.
The head unit is better than a new school blaupunkt.

I never expected to see my own product on reddit 😂. I’m shorelinedesigns, I tried to make the base as tight of a fit as possible to make sure it didn’t fall out with age. I apologize if it was too tight, sometimes with these cars there can be slight variations in the way the plastic ages.

No worries! I got a few things from you! That cupholder fits great, just needed to shave off a mm on each side.

Bro, i have the green/blue repro of that fabric. I've been planning to redo my interior, just so busy I barely have time to finish any thing.

Armrest is pretty slick!
I just put my phone where your screen is and use a more period looking head unit

I’m all for resto mod type cars, but the location of the display irks me because it appears to block other things
