Happy 15 year anniversary to the original Puss In Boots movie. It's not as good as Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, but I still enjoy it.

On October 27, 2011, the first Puss in Boots movie was released in Russia, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine (US premiere took place a day after).
The first Puss in Boots movie was a great way to expand Shrek franchise not by making another movie about Shrek, but by making a movie spin-off about other Shrek characters (like Puss in Boots, who already has two spin-off movie about him by now, or Donkey, whose spin-off movie is gonna be released in 2028).
It was so interesting to see Puss` origin, how he raised in Spain (before getting to Far Far Away) and how he had a friend (literally, a talking egg). Spanish atmosphere here is purrfect.
Puss Suite is a bless for ears. Just like Americano (by Lady Gaga). I`m laughing like El Risitas any time, when I see the dance of the little boars in the hospital room.
Other characters also were made good like Kitty Softpaws of Mama Imelda (who replaced Puss` biological mother).
And despite this movie is often being shadowed by its sequel, let`s be honest: The Last Wish, with all my respect and love for this movie, would have NEVER EVER existed, if there wouldn`t have been 2011 Puss in Boots movies.
And looking back at 2011, I think, it was very good year for Dreamworks, as there were two Dreamworks releases this year (Kung Fu Panda 2 and Puss in Boots) and both were great!

My actual favorite is Sweet Dreams. She may look visually beautiful and stunning but she takes her job very seriously

I know, it was completely shocking. I was terrified, upon hearing the news.

With Eric Bauza's unfortunate death, I think it would be a good time to talk about the big roles he's had on DreamWorks shows. It's impressive how he manages to voice match celebrities so that they sound nearly the same. We see this with Chet from Turbi Fast and Puss from The Adventures Of Puss In Boots. Even with the preschool show Doug Unplugs, which is based on a book, he does a good job channeling Eugene Levy in his performance as Bob Bot.
