Please help me out, my entire family has an infinity symbol tattooed but I want ladybugs to be incorporated with it somehow too. I have no idea how to do it without it looking silly. If anyone has any ideas, they'd be greatly appreciated.
Looking for ideas to fill these gaps on my leg in a traditional style to match what I already have. I’ve got 7 animals already, so looking for something different. Last two pics are to show my existing tattoos. Any suggestions?
Already considered C&B, but that’s not happening lol.
First tattoo I want to get as a memorial piece for my dad. I’m open to for anything but would lean more illustrative. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas!
I'm hoping to get a tattoo based on the attached image — the winged figure from the epigraph of Toni Morrison's Beloved. I love the original, but I don't want it to be a straight copy/paste.
I'd love if someone would be interested in tweaking/redrawing it so it works better as a tattoo. I'm definitely open to suggestions and brainstorming — cleaning up the lines, adjusting the wings, making it fit the placement better, whatever you think would work.
Placement: upper arm, right where it meets the shoulder. I'm picturing the semi-circle arch lining up with the very top of my arm, so it follows that curve.
Hello, hopefully not breaking any rules.
I am looking for someone to design a tattoo for me.
My mother passed last year and I am wanting to get a tattoo in her memory. She was a massive fan of the green man design and had them up around the house and in her garden.
I was hoping I could find someone to design an Australian version of the green man for me using Australian plants rather than the traditional european design. jh
The tattoo would be going on my upper arm so after something not small but also not huge if that helps.
I wanted to share a really special art project I worked on recently. A customer sent over a photo holding her much loved Reggie, along with a note that he would have been turning 11 this week. She lost him 6 months ago and wanted a clean line drawing of them together so she could get it tattooed.
I created a fineline portrait capture his squishy face and the tender way she held him, keeping the lines simple and smooth and trying hard to capture the emotion. Seeing the final tattoo on her arm along with her note about carrying a piece of him forever was such an emotional moment.
Pet loss is so hard, but turning those memories into minimal art is such a sweet way to honour them.
How have you remembered or honoured a pet you’ve lost? Do you prefer memorial tattoos, framed art, or something else?
Hello all my mom past away last year and I was thinking about getting my first tattoo to memorialize her. I drew up an idea of what I want, but I was wondering if any of you would like to help me cement an idea. This drawing is based off her favorite book series The Dark Tower by Stephen King. Would appreciate any drawings or feedback!
Hello,
My younger brother and I have been meaning to get a matching tattoo to commemorate our middle brother who died in 2020 when all three of us were still kids. It was a life shaking event but my youngest brother and I became much closer as a result. We want a matching tattoo to commemorate the brother we lost while also enshrining the relationship we have fostered from that tragedy.
All three of us used to love going to go fishing and jumping off of old wooden docks when we were growing up. There is nothing like watching the sunset over the marsh.
The concept is to have my youngest brother and I silhouetted in front of a sunset casting a single shadow (or perhaps three shadows?) on the dock behind us to represent our lost brother. My youngest brother is tall and lean, while I am short and broad. We are imagining a small-medium sized, grayscale piece that would go on our upper pecs. Neither of us is good at drawing so our best attempt is in the comments if I can figure out how to add it. Feel free to comment if you think you have any further questions or think you can hook us up with some art!
Adding small supporting details to custom geometric symbol tattoos is a great way to balance the overall design. While the main symbols turn names or words into hidden geometric shapes, adding tiny accent elements, like fine line spark stars, helps soften the geometry and frame the piece naturally on the skin.
Placing two distinct symbols side-by-side above the wrist creates a delicate layout. The addition of subtle starburst accents gives the artwork a bit of extra character while keeping the core meaning of the hidden words private and minimalist.
I am planning to get a tattoo but I am not able to find a good tattoo around my idea which is a mountain inside a puzzle piece which defines Mountains Complete me.
planning to rework my upper arm as i just dont like how it came out years ago and want something that flows. I want to cover the flowers or blend them but keep the feather. I really like black and grey with a splash of color, specifically flowers, feathers, antlers, and a steer skull. Could you help me make it all flow without it looking too busy? My lower arm will be finished tomorrow. Thanks so much for any advice!
Hiii. I have this hand tattoo that looked better in my head vs now. Please don’t make fun of me!!! Everyone asks if it’s supposed to resemble palm lines and it literally wants supposed to I just wanted to accent my hand a little but cause I don’t wear jewelry. But anyways I want to fancy this up a little bit and make it more abstract/cover more of my hand while keeping the fine lines. I’m open to literally anything and I also want to include my palm but can anyone anywhere help with some ideas please 😭 thanks!!!
Hi! I would like to get a whimsical tattoo of a fairy garden, but not the typically cartoon-y mushroom vibe. I would like it to be more forest fairy than mushroom, tinker bell fairy if that makes sense.
Is the tattoo I want on one of my inner forearms. American traditional style, preferably, with the wrist end being the bottom. Can send pic of canvas area if desired.
Hey guys! My husband and I are looking to get matching Pierce the Veil tattoos featuring lyrics from Kissing in Cars. One of us would have “the first time I’ve seen love…” and the other would have “and the last I’ll ever need…”
The only problem is that I already have a quote tattooed on my chest, and I don’t really want any more tattoos that are just plain text. I’d love to incorporate the lyrics into some kind of design to make them feel more like actual pieces of art, but I’m having a hard time coming up with ideas.
I tend to like darker, more alternative designs. “Edgy” is probably the best word for it, as cringe as that sounds lol. Think skulls, spiders, etc. All of my tattoos are black and grey, with a couple of them having red accents. My husband doesn’t have any tattoos yet, so I’d love for the designs to complement each other without necessarily being identical.
The design doesn’t have to be a finished, polished piece, either! I can draw and would be happy to work off a rough sketch or build on an existing idea. I’m just horribly uncreative when it comes to coming up with concepts from scratch, so I could really use some help brainstorming something that would look good.
I’m also willing to pay $15 for a design I really like if anyone is interested in drawing something up!
Thanks in advance! :)
My childhood dog just passed away. I really love this altered version of “Sympathy” by Briton Riviere, where the dog is spectral. I would like a tattoo of it in a style similar to the following pictures: simple with minimal detail and shading. I really want the dog to still appear more transparent, so I understand if a bit more detail is necessary. I’d be happy to pay a little for the right one.
Hola!!
Me da ansiedad tenerla ahí.
Si a alguien le apetece proponer alguna idea estaría súper agradecida ❤️
